Review: In October of 2010 I visited Cavazos law firm and I was told that I was going to get help from [redacted]., my wife was being deported and was in custody of ice, and I was told by cavazos to pay $4000 for them to help my wife stop her deportation. I paid them the amount and they did nothing to stop my wifes deportation.Desired Settlement: I would like them to at least give me back my money that I paid because I had to borrow that money in hope of my wife being able to continue her immigration process her in the US.

Review: I was seeking immigration services that he offered on the radio. We call and that same day we get an appointment for that evening. We were pleased, and amazed. He quoted us a quite a bit of money, gave him half and we were making monthly payments. Throughout those months they called to see how we were doing very friendly. But after we finished paying they don't call or return phone call. And we asked to speak with the lawyer to see what going on with our case, we talk to [redacted]. He just told us "wait for a reform and call us in 6 months". Now over 2 years past and we call his office make an appointment and the secretary asks for my name, and after I give it to her she replies " your still with us" in an amazed voice. And we explained that we need to see the lawyer and demand answers. I told her what the lawyer had told us and that he was the older gentleman. And she again replied very silly " he is a lawyer that's his dad" I thought why would they schedule me to talk to him. I then told her I want to see face to face the "lawyer " that cashed my checks , that spending my money. She made me appts to see him and twice he cancelled and then finally keeps one and we talk to him and then again he tells we need to wait for the record from the boarder that's what keeping them from going forward.Desired Settlement: We would like for the firm to settle the case and get residency like we want and like he said we he quoted us the price.

Mr Cavazos right from the being lied to us from day one. We had an appt. with Mr Cavazos JR and were greeted by his father Cavazos Sr. who was not licensed to practice law in California. We paid over $4000 in attorney fees and never did my husband immigration status did not get resolved in the three years since we signed a contract. Calls were never answered emails or messages were completely ignored . The wrong application was filed and we lost all fees paid to National Visa Center. I just visited his office last week and we shocked to find a " Temporary Closed" sign on his front office door . No warning what so ever.
