Cave to Castle remodeled a bathroom for me last year (May 2017)The tiles they put down on the floor had unsightly spaces between themI contacted the company owner, Glenn Phelps, and he sent someone out to put in a new floorThe new floor still has spaces between some of the tilesDoes not look like a professional job, which is what I paid forIn addition to that problem, the clear caulk that was put around the tub/shower area turned yellow within just a few months, despite the fact this is a guest bath and gets very little useMrPhelps said he had contacted the manufacturer about this and that they sent him new caulkFor over a year now he has been saying that he stands behind his work and that he will put in a new floor and recaulk for meHe promises but never does respond to my calls nor emails to him about setting up a date for the repair workAfter a year, I have given up on himI think it is reasonable to assume that he does not stand behind his work and that I cannot expect him to do so

We chose to hire Cave to Castle for our kitchen remodel project after seeing them at our local county fair. After our initial consultation we were pleased to find out that we were dealing with the owner himself, Glenn. Jeff (who I believe is the owners son), was our first contact at the fair and he was fantastic at actually taking the time to talk with us about a few ideas rather than just sticking a pad in front of us asking for information. After we learned that Cave to Castle is a small, local, family owned and operated business that was able to take care of our custom kitchen project for a fair price we decided to hire them. I was also incredibly pleased that the sales consultation process was very straight forward unlike some other estimates we received where the process was really high-pressure and they start dropping their price like crazy just to get you to buy something (where's the self worth there??). The work was started a little bit layer than expected (a week) with good reason as we did have lots of inclement weather in the weeks prior to our project's start date. Other than that the entire process was completed as expected- the quality of work was above par and the guys who were in our home everyday were very professional, curious, and informative about what was going on. We highly recommend Cave to Castle to out family and friends!!

We ended up using Cave to Castle remodeling because our basement flooded from a broken pipe. The service started out great. However, they kept promising that our basement would be completed, and week after week it was not. I realize that happens with construction companies, so didn't worry too much about it. However, as the job moved towards finishing - such as painting, door frames, light switches, etc., the work was incredibly sloppy. It was clear they were looking for quick fixes to everything, and had no regard for quality. They also broke a removable plexiglass insert for our security door, and instead of properly replacing it with another removable plexiglass insert, they just tried to glue a cracked plexiglass slab directly to our metal door. When I saw him doing it, he took it off, but had not returned to replace it or get the glue off of our door. In short, the place looks worse than before they got there. They also left our house with a key to our house, and refused to answer our phone calls to return our key, so that we have been forced to rekey our home. I would never refer them to anyone. They had poor workmanship, no integrity, and would not return phone calls.
