She purchased the car on 9/1/16, later that evening I received a message from her saying the car wouldn’t start after turning it off, a salesman spoke with her and based on her description the salesman recommended she jump-start the battery, she did not communicate with us after that so we assumed the battery had just died and the issue was resolvedI checked the phone log to verify if she talked to the company the 9th and 22nd of September and found no logs under her numberShe sent a message regarding her plates, asking when they were going to arrive on 10/2/The salesman spoke with her 10/17/letting her know her tags had come in, this is when she let the company know that her car was no longer workingBetween 9/1/and 10/2/there was no communication between usShe did not notify us the car needed a replacement battery or anything else for that matter, or we would’ve helped her with the costsThe day she purchased the vehicle she test drove the car and purchased it knowing the car had no warranty, but we were willing to help if she had come to us

The Chrysler pacifica was issued to *** *** on March 7,Being aware that it wasn't a new vehicle but a usedoneMeaning it wouldn't have guarantee, in which she signed tooWhen a vehicle comes to Cavenders we take a fullinspection to make sure the vehicle is safeThe buyer had the
opportunity to test drive the vehicle to see if she felt comfortableand safe in which she did.The first time the vehicle was brought to Cavenders Motors it was weeks after the purchase so the water pumpcould be fixed and he let us know that he felt something when he hit the brakesWe changed the breaks although it wasn'tnecessary so the driver could feel safeCavenders had agreed with *** and *** that Cavenders would purchase the partsthat they later had to pay and Cavenders would put In the labor, they never payed the Parts Cavenders purchased.Throughout the time the pacifica was at Cavenders we let him borrow another vehicle, in which we were notforced to lend him one of our merchandise but we did it with the whole purpose to help the clientThe buyer insisted inwanting a truck in which we told him we could not give himPurposely he would give us signs like stepping on the pacificas gasto hard, letting us know he wanting the truck for workPurposely he would damage the pacifica, causing the vehicle not tofunction. The contract that the buyers signed clearly stated no guarantee for it was a used vehicle, client took advantage ofour help and only did what benefited him, so many times he threatened to file a complaint against Cavenders if he did notreceive the truck he desired.Never the less today, July 22,we came to an agreement that Cavenders will give the client a one thousand dollar refund, inwhich they don't have to pay Cavenders the parts Cavenders had purchased for the vehicle, and that it will remain here .The agreement will be attached with this letter as well of a copy of the taxes that we paid since the buyer wascomplaining why it was so much, the tax copy shows that we were only charging what we paid, no more

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute
Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below
They have lied*** presented himself to us as owner, financer, and mechanic of this business not once have I had the pleasure of meeting *** *** When *** refers to changing vehicles he is talking about that he wanted to take the total amount he already had for the Pacifica as down payment for a GMC truck which he admitted changing the truck's odometer which we obviously said no we did not wantNow to our judgement *** is not the owner, financer nor mechanic like he said to be taking out the motor out of the Pacifica to "fix it" , that we all know that after *** did that two days later the motor was knocking and completely broke down making it uselessAnd believe that the $should be returned A repeatedly said phrase by *** is that "I don't get rich off of the poor" Finally I did record him saying he would return my money in full for free he said in an angry wayI hope that people wanting to buy a vehicle do read my complaint on this dealer and change their minds before deciding to go over thereThis dealer is very unprofessional and would not recommend it to anyone.
Regards,

assumed the battery had just died and the issue was resolved. I checked the phone log to verify if she talked to the company the 9th and 22nd of September and found no logs under her number. She sent a message regarding her plates, asking when they were going to arrive on 10/2/2016. The salesman spoke with her 10/17/2016 letting her know her tags had come in, this is when she let the company know that her car was no longer working. Between 9/1/2016 and 10/2/16 there was no communication between us. She did not notify us the car needed a replacement battery or anything else for that matter, or we would’ve helped her with the costs. The day she purchased the vehicle she test drove the car and purchased it knowing the car had no warranty, but we were willing to help if she had come to us.
