on monday november 19, 2012 I rented a chrysler town&country mini van for one week. my daughters latresha and lakesha phillips returned the vehicle on sunday evening november 25, 2012 around 8pm and 8:30pm. lakesha filled out the return form and put it along with the two rental car keys in the drop box. the vehicle was park in front of the budget rental office [redacted] telegraph southfield, mi in the parking space next to entry door.on thursday december 27, 2012 @ 1:40pm budget rental called and said they never received the van. latresha and I went to the rental place to speak to the gentlemen who rented us the van. one guy said he got the paper work from the drop box on monday november 26 2012 but there no keys or van. I never received one phone call about the van until december 27 2012. budget kept charging my credit card and never reported the van stolen or missing. budget rental informed me it was not their duty to call me and inquire about why the vehicle was not returned on the due date monday november 26 2012. budget rental also said it was not their responsibility to report the vehicle stolen or missing as long as funds were available on my credit card and could not stop payments without having the vehicle in their possession.
