CB Properties

Review: CB Property was our property managers in Chico, CA. They continuely refused to respond to us when something needed to be fixed. We had many issues with the property that were ignored by them. But finally, one winter several leaks formed in our ceiling. They got bigger and bigger and CB Property refused to fix or look at the leaks. After a wet storm our ceiling fell in dropping drywall, insulation and roofing materials into our sons bedroom. We could see the sky from a 4 foot by 2 foot hole in the ceiling. Again, they refused to respond to our asking for them to fix it. After 35 days with no response we were forced to move. They then , after 60 days, sent us notice that they were taking our whole deposit claiming they needed it for carpet cleaning and maintenance. They are unethical, unprofessional and untrustworthy.Desired Settlement: I would like some sort of explanation on why they refused to help us with the hole in our ceiling. They caused us undue stress as well as moving expenses that we couldn't afford. They also took our $2225.00 deposit that made all these matters worse. But, what I would like most is to not have this company do what they did to us to someone else. I think it is only right to warn people how unscrupulous CB Property is and they should not be able to run a business this way. Thank you
