for CB Squared Services Inc.  One of my roles is to handle all customer complaints for CB Squared Services, Inc. This letter is in response to complaint # [redacted] filed by [redacted]. CB Squared Services, Inc. is willing to reimburse Mr. [redacted] for the transmission service out of customer relations.  Our service would not cause damage to the transmission; however it could expose a pre-existing condition.  We cannot warrant that the internal parts of the transmission.  There are many variables that would leave to the issues MR. [redacted] is having with his vehicle.  We were not notified of any issues after the service until Mr. [redacted] contacted us about two weeks ago.  This is months after the service was performed by CB Squared Services, Inc. T/A Jiffy Lube.  The vehicle was brought to the dealership where it was diagnosed and worked on without our knowledge.  This is a clear breach of the contract that Mr. [redacted] entered with Jiffy Lube on February 5, 2016.  The warranty can be obtained on the back of the original service invoice.  The warranty states:  Exclusions to the Limited Service Warranty- This warranty does not apply if you have made any repairs to the parts of the vehicle that you claim were damaged by the original service(s) or when repairs are made without prior written approval from the original Jiffy Lube Service Center. Review: I took my vehicle to the named business on 02/05/2016 for services to my transmission and an oil change.

When I left said service provider, the transmission in my car started acting up and on 06/08/2016 the vehicle had a major breakdown and became inoperable and wouldnt go into gear. On 02/06/2016, I had taken the vehicle to [redacted] for a 2nd opinion when I noticed something wasn't quite right after leaving Jiffy Lube and they told me the transmission fluid that was flushed into my vehicle was burnt and was 2 qts low. Now the vehicle is inoperable and I would like it fixed.Desired Settlement: I would like this issue RESOLVED. They had a warranty of 90 days, but I live too far from where I got the service done. So my desired outcome is either refund me my money I paid, or FIX my car

Review: about a month and a half ago, my wife stopped by [redacted] to get the oil changed. I was out of town for a period of time and when I returned, we noticed oil spots where the car was parked. We figured that the car was leaking oil since the oil change. I took the car back to [redacted] and explained that the car has been steadily leaking since my wife brought it in. They pulled the car in and looked at it. I was told after they looked at it that they did everything like they were supposed to and that the reason it was leaking was because there was an aftermarket drain plug installed. The drain plug has been in place for years through a number of oil changes and now it's leaking profusely. The gentleman I spoke with said that if it keeps leaking, I can bring it back for another oil change in a few months and they will replace the drain plug. He wanted me to wait for the next oil change! I took the car to Toyota of Stafford for repair. It was determined that drain plug had been stripped again after the oil change by [redacted]. Since the oil pan was repaired before and now it was stripped again, the entire oil pan has to be replaced.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the cost of the original payment made by my wife for the oil change and also payment for the cost of the Toyota dealership to replace the oil pan, drain plug seals and the inconvenience of not having our car available because they did not own up to their mistake.

Review: The business over tightened the oil drain plug on the vehicle causing it to be damaged when the plug needed to be removed for the next oil change. I explained the issue to the manager and the employee of Jiffy Lube denied they over tightened the plug, disregarding my claim, not event researching to find which of his employees actually executed the last oil change service. I explained they were the only business to service the oil on my car, I event offered to pay them remove the plug only, but the manager said they do not carry an oil plugs I the size my car needed. He offered no alternative solutions or options to resolve the matter, such as order or an apology. As a customer calmly and rationally seeking remedy, they were not professional and refused to accept any responsibility or offer resolution. I was treated as if I was lying, even though I had the receipt from the prior service. This was pathetic customer treatment...Desired Settlement: I would like for them to repair the plug or exchange the one they caused to be damaged, and an apology.
