CBJ Credit Recovery Reviews (9)

I have searched our records for a [redacted] and a [redacted] We have no such person listed by those names that I can findSince we do record all our calls, I checked with our software company and no such calls were made to any of the numbers listed in the complaintAt this point it seems to me the phone calls made to the complainant were not made by this officeI could research this further if I knew who the money was owed to.Thank you,Matt

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]Regards, [redacted]

After reviewing the complaint we had contacted our client and discussed the complaint with them, they have informed us that this account as a valid account and is owing which we have told the on more then one occasionAs required by the FDCPA we have marked this account and disputed and
provided her documentation

The hospital placed this account with our office on 2/19/15, On 3/10/a year later, the patient called our office and stated this shouldn't have, peen sent to the credit reporting agencies and wanted it removedOn 3/11/we contacted our client to see if insurance had paid this account
They, informed us the account was paid and to remove the account from the credit reporting agencies ....Or 3/11/16, that same day, we sent a request to the credit reporting agencies via E-Oscar to have this account deletedAs far as we .know the account has been deleted from Experian ; Equifax and TransUnionIf this account still appears one or allof her credit reports, she will have to notify our office which report it still appears on and we will send another delete request

The paid accounts in question were reported as paid to TransUnion, Equifax and Experian in accordance with the FCRAWe do not report to *** *** and have no obligation to send them any filesAs we explained to the consumer, once we send our files to the credit reporting agencies it is out of
our control on whether the updated information is received by the credit reporting agencies and we have no way to verify this was done until we are informed the information is still not correct which was as in this caseOn 7/18/I spoke with the consumer and told her to remedy this situation that I would notify the credit reporting agencies to remove the information from her credit file, which was done on that same dayRegards, Matt *** CBJ Credit Recovery

The account in question was paid on 1/26/and was reported to the Credit Reporting agencies on 2/15/which is with the day period of updating informationCBJ is not legally required to remove a paid account from a consumer's credit report unless the information is incorrect, CBJ has an
obligation under theFairCredit Reporting act to report fair and accurate data to the credit reporting agenciesCBJ will resubmit the paid status to the credit reporting agencies but will not remove the accountsCBJ Credit Recovery Collection Division

full debt collectors and creditors are not legally required to remove a consumer report from a consumer's credit report unless the information is incorrect.  In fact the consumers reporting agencies (CRAs) generally have policies against removing accurate information.  Thus, once an account is paid the creditor or debt collector who furnished the information to CRA will general mark the account to show that it is paid in full, rather then removing the report. It is CBJ Credit Recovery Policy to report fair and accurate information to the credit reporting agencies. Sincerely, MattCBJ Credit Recovery
