Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: This is a unprofessional and dishonest response. I will gladly be using this in the future for a legal issue if need be and I have no issues passing this on to any state officials who would need to review this companies work or financial information. I also will consider taking this person to court based on his dishonesty or ability to clean floors properly. My floor looks worse then it did prior to using his services and I feel it is now damaged. 1....I am Daniel G[redacted] and I am not the owner I am the business operations Manager.2.......[redacted].3......The customer paid for a strip and wax but then was upset that the floor didn't look like new. It's an old floor which would need a floor...
restoration. A floor restoration would never be bid at $500.00 especially when we're talking about 1500 square feet. The floor looked great and we spent 5hrs with a two man crew. I worked some but again I am the operations manager, I don't have to. We were put under time restrictions which I wasn't originally told about due to " The office Manager having to pick up her kids at daycare" Also there is no slop sink in this office.4.....I asked her to stay in her office because floor stripper is slippery and since cbm was doing the job we would be liable. If she wants to strip a floor herself and fall that's on her but when I do a job it's safety first. It's a liability for me. I'm surprised they don't understand that. We were using a swing machine on the entire floor as well as scrapers and doodle bug.5.......We were paid right after the job because the manager on duty was satisfied. It was the next day when another manager "Who used to be a cleaner" had unrealistic expectations about the strip and wax job. She expected a brand new floor. There were some areas she said that could have been scraped better but these areas wouldn't show when they installed the floor boards anyway. However, to my credit I sent the crew back for another 2hrs while this woman ran them around scrapping into fresh wax. I warned against this as you can't get the wax to match up anyway but it's what they wanted......and I do stand behind my work. Someone in there office walked on the wet wax and after the second day they ground a white spot in the floor using a machine. Once again they got a very good strip and wax job at a discounted price, they ruined it and complained due to ignorance of the process.6.......I strongly advised about not cutting into the wax and offered a discount on the next job we would hopefully do for them. I certainly would bid a restoration price next time around but would have happily discounted it. I think there statement speaks for itself about what type of customer this was. personal digs aside, I would not recommend working with them and if you do make sure they are describing what they expect and what process is what or you will be in for it.7......I am not issuing a refund. we did a fine job under difficult circumstances............................and I did go back and stand behind my work.
