I moved into my unit Oct 30th of 2018 ‘ the present management allowed me 24 hrs in order to accept the unit’ the condition was appalling’ the rug was filthy and had matted stains the kitchen filthy Stove never cleaned by maintenance man” the original kitchen cabinets never cleaned grease build up film covering them the walls also. The bathroom a disaster’ it took me two months to scrub off black rubber film from past tub liner. I had already given my notice and stored my belongings So I was given an ultimatum of take it or lose it. The unit was nice in estetic a connected row of cottages I loved the grounds ‘ at the well maintained by outside contractor’ the community was intrusive from the start’ I repeatedly requested that my unit be cleaned “ the rug either changed or deep industrial cleaned throughout my time living there. And was denied. I had repeated plumbing emergencies’ waiting to response of calls to entire staff of Management ‘ maintaence’ manager ‘ district manager ‘ Auburn Ca Office” resulting to raw sewage filling the tub ‘ overflowing on to the carpet’ during covid. Very little if no regard to my compromised state of immunity. Nice Veneers ‘ hidden issues.

Review: My faucet is basically broken and making dishes hard to do. I contacted the office via telephone the day it happened on July 22, 2015 and left a message on their machine. The maintenance man stopped by on the 24 and said it would need to be replaced and he had to order parts so it would be fixed the 27 or 28. No one showed or called to let me know what was going on. I called and left messages on the 28, 30, and 31 with no call back. My husband spoke with the maintenance man again today (August 3, 2015) and was told the parts have not been delivered (hard to deliver packages when no one is in the office to receive them). I called [redacted] at CBM Group and left a message for him, still no call back (which is no surprise back when I first moved in back in 2014 I called him twice and was never addressed). We are currently in a manager transition period. Which means their is no management living on site and they are not here even on the two days someone is suppose to be here (this happened a few months after I moved in as well). They just leave a note on the office door. I leave messages and get no return calls, not even a we can't be out today or still no part. My apartment also has an ant issue. I have told the manager multiple times about the issue, so I bought [redacted] and some ant spray and combat the issue. However, with no proper working sink I fear my ant issue with get worse and I have two young kids! I can't even turn the water off under the kitchen sink because a knob is missing. We have broken or no screens on windows. I had to go out and buy my own screen and staple it up so I can open my windows in my living room to get fresh air in the house. Not all the lights around the complex have working bulbs, it's a little scary at night and we have some not so welcome people who hang out by a certain apartment. I would really like to get my sink back in working order.Desired Settlement: I'm picking up a faucet today and installing it since no one has contacted me back about this matter. So my rent check will be $40 less.
