Received email advertisement for skin care to try. I thought this was a sample to try and if I liked, I could buy from company. I paid just short of $20 to try these products. Then after I was released from the hospital, I saw 2 more charges for the samples that I had already paid for, the two charges this time were for just short of $180.00. I immediately requested my credit card company not to pay these two charges. I then called the company and they said that I did not receive samples that I paid for, I recieved full sizedproducts that I must pay for because I did not return it in 14 days. I explained that I thought that I paid for sample products and I do not remember reading that the products sent to me were full sized and that I had only 14 days to return the product or I would be charged another just short of $180.00 charge. I told her that this may be my fault for not finding this information in the small print found within the their advertisement and that I may be stuck paying the money.

I told her that I requested my credit card not to pay the charge and would be reporting this situation I asked her if I needed to report this to a Revdex.com in Florida or can I just use the national site. She said, I do not know what you are talking about. I asked her, 'are you sure there will be no more charges or shipment'?. This is when she informed me that I was also subscribed to their auto delivery. Would she have told me that if I had not directly asked the question, I do not think so. I believe I would have gotten another of product, that I did not want and be stuck with the payment.

This is wrong business practice. Bad enough that we must read every word of small print to make sure that the sample you pay for is not going to blow up in your face and you are charged with a huge amount of money and then have it happen again when the first auto delivery is shipped! And again and again!! I am on a fixed income, as are many my age, we do not deserve to be targeted.

Deceptive advertising for a free sample at 4.95 and than charged 89.95 without knowing of the charge on my credit card Definitely takin advantage of consumers.
