I received a call about spreading mulch from ***'s wife I told her that we usually don't just spread mulch because the customer usually will order to much or to less of what they need for job I asked and told her I would have to come out and take a look at what she has because every
yard is different and it all really depends on the landscaping If it's going on hills or banks, etcShe tells me that everything is flat and it would be a really easy job So, I agree to send a couple of my best guys over to help her out since it was a rainy day Upon arrival of every job we do, we take before and after picture and walk around with the customers to make sure exactly what they are wanting, which both my guys did They also have a record that records the conversation between the customers and themselves so that if anything is said, we at the office can go back and listen to see what exactly was said Both my guys walk around with both *** and his wife and they pointed out the area they wanted to have the mulch put down Which none of the yard was a flat surface, if was on a big slope.After both *** and his wife walked around and showed both my guys where to put the mulch They started spreading the mulch that *** and his wife had ordered Once all the areas that were pointed at and was gone over was don,e which took my two guys hours to spread, there was still about yards of mulch left because the customers ordered to much Once everything that they where suppose to do and was pointed out to do, they re-walked the yard with *** BC his wife wasn't at home at the time Again, this conversation was recorded between *** and my guys They walked around the area and of the yard and *** said everything looks amazing and really good Once the guys were done and about to leave, *** asked since they have extra mulch, if they could spread it more down in the woods a little more to get rid of what was left since they ordered to much. My guys told *** that they had another job to go complete and that *** would have to call me and see if they could come back out since they had the other job to go complete. *** said ok and Paid the guys and gave them a $tip since they did a good job I get a phone call the next day from *** wife saying that they had extra mulch and they need it spread too I told her I was out of town and I would have see if they could get time to swing BC over there bit not sure when it could be I had a death in family and had to leave the office for few days When I get back into office I have four different message from *** call me and the two guys that spread the mulch names that I can't out online I call them back and ask them what was going on the they say we didn't finish the mulchBut once listen to the records from theirConversations between my guys and *** everything look really good and was done to what they wanted I asked her if the job wasn't done why did they pay and say what they said on the record *** doesn't recall any of the things that was said between himself and the crew on how it looks good and thanks for doing etc.. Now they are mad Because I told them I cant send my guys back over I told *** wife that I will happly send half her money back which I since a money order of $to them But my guys did the work and did everything that *** and his wife pointed out But since *** order to much mulch they wont to bad mouth my companyWhen its there own fault for ordering to much mulch.
