I am a three-peat customer: fence installation, tree removal, and stump grinding. I would not use a company a second time, let alone a third time, if they didn't provide excellent service. Carl and his crew arrived when they said they would, did a clean and careful job, for a reasonable price.
Fence installation: I was in another state when I bought my house in Oak Ridge, but getting a fence put up for my dog was a priority. I emailed several contractors in the Knox/OR area for a ball park quote. C & C was the only company that responded with any usable information. Carl then walked the property and sent me a complete proposal. We kept in email contact, and I met with Carl when I got to town to mark out the fence lines. Ancient shrubbery had to be cut out, a hole punched in a concrete slab to set a post, and it was snowing. They got it done just before I moved in.
Tree removal: When I realized that two trees were causing foundation damage, I got a quote from Carl to remove them. It took two days (the trees were very large), but the trees were gone, the debris was gone, and even the neighbors commented about how quickly and cleanly the job was done. I have gotten several compliments on both the fence and the tree removal.
Stump grinding: The portion of each stump above ground was close to 36 inches in diameter. The immediate root system on each tree was at least another 36 inches out. It took the better part of two days (in 90+ degree heat) to grind them down. One of the trees was very close to my water and sewer lines. Carl took extreme care to prevent any damage to the lines. He also ran the grinder very carefully along my foundation to get rid of some stumps from shrubs that had been there for so long they'd turned into small trees. Not one nick or gouge in the brickwork. The tree debris was raked neat and flat, and the site was left clean.
I will definitely call C & C for future work; it is a pleasure doing business with them.

I am so glad we went with C&C Elite Contractors when we had our fence built. The service we received from the crew was above and beyond what we had expected. Carl was very helpful, thoughtful, and knowledgeable, and seemed to know exactly what we wanted when we couldn't explain it very well. I will be calling them for my other home improvement projects in the future. Excellent Job!!

Wow, these guys are amazing... Carlo is a great person and a fair businessman. He is extremely knowledgeable and really tries hard to give the customer what they want. Before they started setting posts his crew cleared the entire yard and fence line of all the weeds and brush and, they even hauled it off for me! His entire crew was pro all the way. They all were extremely diligent and Carlo's attention to detail was AWESOME! Yes, we were delayed a few times due to the weather but, Carlo always kept us up-to-date. If you want to use a company that knows what they are doing then C&C Elite Contractors is the company to use!Thanks a bunch Carlo you're the best!
I had a section of fence installed and additional rock and landscape cloth installed to a French drain. The start date was pushed back due to weather, but did commence on the second scheduled time. I am very satisfied with the quality of work. The finished product was more than I had expected. Overall-very satisfied.

On May 26, 2017 I signed a contract and paid a deposit of $2,970 to C&C Elite contractors/*** to fence my property.

I was notified by email with weather related excuses as to why they could not start on several occasions. On July 26 with no call no show was it and I demanded a refund. I could tell very quickly that I was not going to be refunded without an attorney. After hiring an attorney I received a partial refund of my deposit less "administrative fees" and a number of other charges to avoid refunding me. I had a court date set to collect the remainder and they rescheduled that date buying more time to avoid refunding my money. We were set for court today November 13 at 1:00 pm when they contacted my attorney and said they would pay what they owed plus court costs to avoid going to court. It took almost six months an attorney and two court dates to get a full refund from C&C!! This is a contractor who never showed up but still felt it was ok to keep my money. I'm not the only one this has happened to. Beware they operate under a few names.

Regarding the other accusations listed in your review. Some of the statements you have made are truthful and some are not. You implied that there was "no call, no show" this, along with several other statements made is simply untrue. If you would like us to provide you with all copies of communications we have had with you, we will be happy to do so. Regarding our business name... Our business has grown over the last few years, and, we now have two sectors under the original L.L.C. however, we are very open regarding the fact that we are expanding. All of our trucks, equipment, letterheads, websites etc. list our parent company, as well as, both sectors. Your implication that we are "operating under a few names" is accurate, however, it is something we are very proud of as it shows our business is growing and, we are open and honest about it. We hope our future customers will remember the following: "The first one to plead his cause seems right, until his neighbor comes and examines him." We fully intended on being with you at court yesterday, however, due to family circumstances beyond our control we made the decision to refund your deposit. We felt it was more important to be with our family at this time, rather than go to court.
