It is our policy when we give estimates, to talk to our customers and resolve misunderstandings like this that may come up.  I have tried to call the customer but could not reach him by phone.  He has been issued a check in the amount in question of $22.32 from the total...

bill of $284.89.  It is our recollection that at the time the customer was paying his bill, and it was more than the estimate he had been given, he questioned the person at the cash register about the difference.  He was asked if he would like to talk to the service manager about the difference and he declined to do so.  To our knowledge the work preformed was done to the customers satisfaction.  The difference between the estimate given and the amount charged was for some fluid that had to be added after replacing the CV axles.  Our Mitchell Repair software, which we use to help make our estimates, said that "some fluid may leak out" when removing the left axle on this vehicle.  When we gave the estimate we did underestimate the amount of fluid loss that had to be replaced.   We only charged the customer for the exact amount of fluid that would make his vehicle safe to drive.

Review: I had my cars axels replaced and had spoken with the mechanic about the price and we agreed on it. After the car was fixed I went to pay the cashier and she told me it was $25 more than the agreed upon price. She asked the mechanic why and he said because some of the transmission fluid leaked due to THEIR mistake and they had to put more in it and charge me for it. I pleaded that it wasn't MY fault that they goofed so why should I have to pay it? They just kept throwing crap in my face and excuses so I just paid the extra instead of waisting more of my time and breathe on a situation that I obviously wasn't going to win. I'm just letting everyone know to be very weary of them cause they'll charge you more for something they did wrong.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the $25 that I was charged for due to a mistake that was not my fault.
