I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference,...
details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
All this shows is that I paid the invoice. [redacted] Contracting is missing the point that when I initially presented them with the situation and problem and asked if they could get rid of the groundhogs, they said yes. I agreed to all work they wanted to do in order to accomplish the goal of getting rid of the groundhogs, and paid everything they told me I owed. The fact remains that I still have groundhogs, and [redacted] did NOT accomplish the goal agreed to at the beginning, which was to permanently rid me of the groundhogs. Now they say they have no more responsibility because the last invoice was dated March. If I had known I was hiring them to get rid of the groundhogs for a few months or for a little while, I would not have wasted my money on them. I have since found an additional $104.20 check I paid [redacted] on 7/9/15, bringing the total paid them to complete the job of getting rid of the groundhogs to $679.20. How does a company accept almost $700.00 to do a job that doesn't get completed? [redacted] acknowledged I would have to hire someone else to complete the job because in our last phone conversation, the office manager wanted to give me the name and phone number of another company for me to call. At this point, all I'm asking for is to have some of the money paid to [redacted] refunded to me, because I still have the problem (groundhogs), and it still needs to be corrected because [redacted] did not get rid of the groundhogs, even though [redacted] said they would.
At the very least I should be allowed to leave as many negative reviews as I want given that [redacted] did not finish the job (of permanently getting rid of the groundhogs), and refuses to be responsible for the job not getting completed.
I have since realized that I should not have used any person's name in the draft review I submitted, and will rewrite the review to remove Heath Baker's name.
Regards,
