Theres so many more problems, I don't know where to beginI called Home Depot coroporate todayThey nice lady there put me on hold and Called the Rhonert Park Home Depot to see what was going onShe told me that Barbara, a flooring manager at Home Depot and [redacted] , a JW FLooring "Quality and Education Manager" were just leaving the store, and [redacted] said to her, "Oh, yes I know that customer (me who he is referring to), don't worry, everything is under control"They have no word, no work ethic and almost impossible to even plan reschedules, as they don't show up and now we have missed another full day at work Meanwhile I still have not received a call from him at 2pm at the time I'm writing thisEverything is not under controlThey do not even call back customersThey AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! I do not know any other business that runs this fraudulently and why HOME DEPOT continues to contract with them is beyond meThis is not nearly near being over! To be continued

JW Flooring did a great job! Noe V & Emanuel G were professional and very friendlyThey made sure we were satisfied with the work and we are!! I would recommend J W Flooring to everyone!

This company is an absolute JOKE They scheduled our install and never showed up! In addition to that, we had paid for the furniture to be moved but they only were sending out one person to do the installHow does that work? I pay to help you move my own furniture?! I am appalled that *** *** would work with such an awful company Luckily we were able to get a full refund and are working with a different company nowBeware to those who order flooring through *** ***, you will get stuck with this company for the install and they are horrible

JW Floor covering was the designated installer for Home DepotFrom the long delay to get the carpeting installed, to the very poor installation job, to a Quality Manager that did not follow through, to another tech that performed a substandard "resolution" to the issue, then no follow up after that, this has been an extremely disappointing experience for a Revdex.com award-winning company
When our carpet arrived, JW contacted us and informed us the earliest appointment would be in five weeksAlthough that seemed like a long time for one 12'x9' room, we made the appointment and emptied/prepared the room the weekend before our appointmentA couple of days before our appointment, JW called and rescheduled our appointment for a week laterThis was disappointing, as well as inconvenient
"Jesus" came out as rescheduled on time and performed the installationI was not present as I had to workWhen I came home, I saw the carpet was cut unevenly at the closet, and was not even stretched completely over the tack stripsIn addition to that, when I stood looking into the closet, tack strip nails were piercing my feetPlease also note we paid Home Depot $to have the room "professionally" measured for this high-end carpet and padding, so there should be no reason for the carpet to be shortI believe it was trimmed too short
I called and reported the issue to JWThey sent out *** *., "Quality and Education Manager" as per his cardHe came out, inspected the job, made some unsolicited disparaging comments about the quality of the job, and said he would get someone out the next day, Thursday, between and 10am to correct the issues
The next day came (I took personal time off from work that morning to be there), and after not hearing from anyone by 9:30, called for a statusI was told by the office that no appointment had been made, due to no one being availableEither *** forgot to set it up, or nobody bothered to notify us that they had changed the day to FridayThey basically TOLD me then it was on for the next day, Friday, from to 10amI informed them they would have to call later and speak to my wife to confirm that time (she was asleep), as she takes my son to school and has a routine; I had work commitments at that day/time I could not break, although I wanted to be thereI went to work, and expected she would call my wife back, as she said she would
At 7:the next morning, I was at work, and got a call from a tech saying he was on his wayHe could not reach my wife at home (who was taking our son to school)I informed him JW was supposed to call her yesterday to set a time that fit her schedule, and that I was at work and could not comeHe said he would call his officeA few minutes later I received a rather surly call from a woman at JW who "wanted to know why I wouldn't let her tech do his job"After I explained the entire customer experience we have had up to that point, and that they had never confirmed an appointment with US, we agreed on a time in the afternoon
"Jose" came out and, after also commenting what an exceptionally poor job the first installer did, tacked down a metal strip along the edge of the miscut carpetHe apologized that was all he could doThis strip is visually unappealing, and does not lay flatIt is a very disappointing termination for the high-end we decided to splurge on
JW remained consistent with their poor customer service, by never calling to follow up after that to ensure we were satisfied, in spite of the fact that this absolutely terrible customer experience was entirely their fault

I have reviewed
the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Yes the job is doneNo not happy with the outcome of missing three days of work waiting around for an appointment that was confirmed and no one shows upTotally unprofessional and I work on comission so I missed out on the opportunity to make moneyI sell an average of cars a day and would make $on those daysSo I was out at least $This was the worst experience I have ever had with a business and I do not see myself going through this again.

"">Thank you for sending this complaint to me. Our response is as follows:
After several attempts to repair Mr[redacted]'s door, it was decided that because the hinges on the door showed signs of age, and allowed the patched part of the door to rub the wall each time the doors were closed, that we would go ahead and replace the doors for the customer. On May 16, 2014, we followed up with the customer, and proposed a suitable replacement. The customer had found another model door that they wanted, and on May 23, 2014, we issued them a check for the material and labor to replace the closet door, and dispose of the old, damaged door
Please let me know if you need any further information on this complaint

In my home the granite was not removed it was not secured correctly by your employees during dry out and that is why it sunk and split at the seam in the picture you sent me you can clearly see the cabinet door sagging so I do not agree with quality of workmanship. You should talk to all individuals involved in this year and a half process of "industry standards and quality of workmanship" and you will find out how JW charged me and my insurance for time and repairs not done. Your file for the subcontractor is corrupted and will not open. You should get all the facts before you submit a statement that is false. Your scenario of events that took place and the timeline is incorrect you need to be better prepared or informed by your staff. Your granite subcontractor gave me 2 color choices for the granite repair and [redacted] told me the seam would be in a different place after cutting the granite in my driveway 2 weeks after I came home with my new baby girl after year long harassing phone calls from your staff and unreasonable demands JW put in the granite and the seam is worse than before. JW has never contacted my insurance regarding additional repairs or extra costs I have requesting multiple times itemized statements of work performed and have yet to see it produced. [redacted] agreed on a price and then changed his mind and sent me to collections JW have not been forthcoming or truthful in there business practices.

After working with Home Depot to come to an agreed compensation I was told by Home Depot I would receive $500 back. I have not yet received it but trust that JW will make it right.

I need to get my carpet installed today, as we agreed!!

This company is a complete joke. I don't even know where to begin. I have all the same complaints as every one else. They no showed us. Made appointments then cancelled or said " the product" was not in yet. Although they are not supposed to make an appointment if the carpet or wood is not in. [redacted] and [redacted] are the mangers at the Santa Rosa store who either A) don't answer my calls B) do not return calls, or C) say they will repair the problem and just do not do anything d) say that we have an appointment and no one shows up.
We have missed too0 many days of work, and couldn't miss more work so I had family and friends come from out of town to be at the house all day. What happened is my mom was no showed 2 times. Drove up the night before to be here bright and early for installers, to make sure not to get stuck in Bay Area traffic and we get no showed. We could not take more time off work - we already took days off work and my husband and I were no showed. SO a friend offered to close his practice for the day, drove up the night before to be here for the installers. NO SHOW! This is after we received auto confirmation calls AND an actual human called me AND my husband to confirm the appt.
When they showed up, it was one guy! One guy until he needed some paper lining, another guy showed up to help. a 4 day job has turned into 7 day + job, surprise, surprise with only one guy working.
The tack where the carpet is connected to the bathroom has nails sticking out, I hurt myself on them. I have crawling babies, so now I have to worry they will get hurt on the nail strip too.
The wood....where do I begin. They installed it and there was cracks and splintering where the nail went in. Turns out the foreman "[redacted]" agreed and said, "oh, its been resolved going forward, the installer had his nail gun on 10lbs too strong so it was cracking the wood". I pointed this out to [redacted] who said they would fix it. Their idea of fixing it is sanding down the wood or cutting it out, which will now VOID the lifetime warranty from Bruce flooring - the whole reason we chose this flooring.
They started to sand it down and pour lacquer over it, which now leaves a dull mark on the wood. Its permanently dull where this lacquer is, in this highly visible, high traffic area right by the back door and sprinkled around. Then, they spill lacquer on the floor and walk through it, so that's permanently there looking like spilled water.
I was livid today after having my mom drive here 3 hours out of her way to stay at home for the installers and being no showed twice. I called [redacted], [redacted] both managers at JW FLOORING in Santa Rosa and no answer. [redacted] at Home Depot never answered her phone or returned any of my phone calls. Apparently, "[redacted]" went missing. Nice, they could have called us, since [redacted] himself confirmed that "[redacted]" would be there today to install the baseboards that I had to get to the house myself. I had to rent a truck, and bring to them to the house myself. JW guys said "those won't fit in our truck."
Theres so many more problems, I don't know where to begin. I called Home Depot coroporate today. They nice lady there put me on hold and Called the Rhonert Park Home Depot to see what was going on. She told me that Barbara, a flooring manager at Home Depot and [redacted], a JW FLooring "Quality and Education Manager" were just leaving the store, and [redacted] said to her, "Oh, yes I know that customer (me who he is referring to), don't worry, everything is under control". They have no word, no work ethic and almost impossible to even plan reschedules, as they don't show up and now we have missed another full day at work.
Meanwhile I still have not received a call from him at 2pm at the time I'm writing this. Everything is not under control. They do not even call back customers. They AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! I do not know any other business that runs this fraudulently and why HOME DEPOT continues to contract with them is beyond me. This is not nearly near being over! To be continued....

JW Flooring did a great job! Noe V & Emanuel G were professional and very friendly. They made sure we were satisfied with the work and we are!! I would recommend J W Flooring to everyone!

This company was hired to redo the flooring in my apartment and they did an unbelievabley horrible job. They left my apartment a disaster, left screws all over the floor and left everything covered in dust. They forgot to install the baseboards and part of the floor is uneven. They also left spaces between the walls and floors. The toilet is loose from the floor and they left trash in my bathtub.
This company needs to be avoided as they are clearly unprofessional and have zero work ethic.
