Attached is a reply to the recent claim by [redacted] *** regarding their local move, claim # [redacted] We are sorry to learn of the disappointment in our services as we take this very seriouslyIf you need any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact meThank you, Bob [redacted] ccoakley relocation systems wrogersstreet west allis, wi ' P: (414) 272-4040' F: (414) 272-In order to address this properly, we would like to dispute one at a time as they are listed *** was the moving consultant that coordinated the arrangements for this move She spent a considerable amount of time on the job the day of packing Not everything in their home was going to be moved as their daughter was remaining in the residence To identify the select items that the [redacted] wanted us to back and move, [redacted] were to place blue tape on the items they would like us to pack and/or move However, not all the items were pre-identified with this blue tape, and Ms [redacted] apparently feels they may not have been marked This created some confusion during packing as many items in the home were not going to the new location, because her daughter was to stay in the origin address When the customer mentioned that she felt there were items packed that were not supposed to be, [redacted] located the boxes from the room, sat down with the customer and opened three (3) medium boxes in question [redacted] then had the customer tell her which items were not to be going [redacted] then removed approximately a box full of items and put them back in the room for her As standard procedure a walk through at the origin home was completed by the crew lead and customer after the truck was loaded Any items the customer felt were to go on the truck could have been pointed out at that time The brackets for the dresser mirror were left in the living room with a few other items that were not to be moved and remain behind for the daughter It was an oversight by both the homeowner and the crew as they both walked through the residence after completing the loading process Once realized that the mirror brackets were not at the new location, [redacted] personally offered (at no charge) to drive back to their home to retrieve them Since the customer had an alarm system, she was unable to go alone, and instead offered to drive the customer back in his car to get them, which they did They were not charged for that time It is important to note that ***, as the moving consultant that made the arrangements for this move, was on site for the packing, loading and unloading of their goods Consultants with other moving companies rarely spend any additional time on a job after the move has been booked During the pack day, [redacted] personally packed wardrobe boxes, and several other boxes at no charge to the customer During the unloading she also unpacked all the wardrobe boxes and hung up the clothes for the customer, again at no charge Before all the cartons were unpacked, Mr [redacted] was frustrated that he could not find the mouse for his computer in the box he thought it should have been packed in [redacted] purchased an upgraded cordless mouse and delivered the new mouse to the customer Shortly thereafter the customer located his original mouse packed in one of the cartons In addition to the mouse [redacted] had also replaced an old, obsolete year old fan that was claimed damagedThe customer wanted a $reduction on their bill for the fan She therefore respectfully declined his request, and offered to purchase him a new similar fan The upgraded replacement fan cost $ It is important to note that the [redacted] had elected not to secure any additional liability coverage for their move, therefore these items normally would not have been replaced At the end of the move the final bill was $less than the estimate provided by *** There was no charge for the numerous hours that [redacted] spent on site supervising the move, packing, unpacking and coordinating the arrangements [redacted] provided her labor for free Three weeks after the move was completed [redacted] drove back to their residence to pickup the boxes from their new home that were packed/used during the move, so they were not inconvenienced with trying to dispose of them themselves Again, an added service provided by the moving consultant at no additional charge to the *** We are sorry to learn that the [redacted] were not completely satisfied with their move, especially after the extra time, effort and personal attention that was provide by [redacted] at no additional cost to the customer
