Hi,I received a message for a cover up. I told her she needed to stop in so we can take pics as she wanted her gun and stretch marks covered up from hip to hip. Normally this can take anywhere from 24-34 hours to do especially with it being a dark to light cover up. She wanted take advantage of...
our 3 hours for $100 tattoo blocks we were offering for the holidays. She was told it would take multiple sessions to do. She says she was fine with that and that the most important thing she wanted was the gun covered up right away. With the design she wanted I was able to work with it but tattooing lighter colors into darker colors you have to change the flow around the area to draw the eye away and lighten up the area when you go in with a detail pass. I will include a few pics of 1 session and 2 session pictures to show the difference of how much time you need. The gun is about a hand size with a cover up it can take around 6 hours to do and she only wanted to start with 1 session so I could only get half of the flower done. It still needs details put into and I never had a chance to finish it. Tattoo's aren't always outline as she states as well. A lot of tattoo's we due today have know true out line as the examples I'm sending I did not due a outline in them. I told her how I was going to do it by sections before we started if she had a problem with this she could've of asked if I could due it a different way. She also saw it and stilled payed without saying anything to me about being unsatisfied and also booked another appointment Feb 13 at 11 am. Tattooing is a art form and everyone has there own style on how the perform the way they do. I'm sorry she is unhappy but she was told how I was going to due it signed a release form got the tattoo looked at it paid than book another appointment knowing they take time. She went complain all over Facebook trying to slander me wrote a complaint to the Revdex.com than 24 hours ask for a refund. She also says now you can't cover up a dark tattoo with orange which she says in her post that she is experience at getting tattoos and knows how they are performed. We can cover up tattoo's with any color and depending what the client wants. The tattoo she wanted needed to be switch a little bit around which she was told as her cover up and area to work with is different than the one she gave me. I have told her I'm willing to fish that particular flower no charge but I was not finishing the whole tattoo. I will not offer any type of compensation as she has not giving the allowed time frame I need to finish everything in a proper method looked at it paid for it and booked another appointment.
