On 7/16/2014 Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] signed a contract with my company to install a metal roof and spray a radiant barrier in the attic of their home, the contract was for $18,430. The house is 2500 square feet so steep that my crew had to tie themselves off to work on, and the roof was cedar...

shake. The radiant barrier is 85 cents a square foot cost $2125.00 for the radiant barrier leaving $16305.00 to do the roof. The average cost to do a metal roof in the phoenix area on a standard shingled roof with average sloped roof is $18475.94 to $23985.86 so the [redacted]s saved at least $8000.00 on the cost of the metal roof and that's why they choose my company to do the work. We were the lowest bid.On 7/17/2014 I went to the [redacted]s with my salesman to look over the job. I set up my roofer to come measure the roof for the materials needed to do the roof.On Wednesday 7/18/2014 at 8:44 am the [redacted]s called me about questions on the roof I spent 15 minutes explaining the questions they had. I got a message for me to call them back that they had more questions on the roof. At 10:58 a.m. I returned their call and spent 32 minutes on the phone explaining to them that a metal roof is not like a shingle roof, and that all the pieces of a metal roof had to be custom fit that the roof was like a puzzle and every slope had to measured and cut. I explained to them that a roofer had to trim every piece on the dormers and valleys, then the easy panels would be put in place. I told them I was buying the materials from one of the biggest companys in the valley that sold and cut the metal panels "[redacted]". On Thursday I sent my roofer to measure the roof and order the materials and he went to [redacted] to place the order. On Friday July the 18th when I went to [redacted] to pay for the materials that my roofer had ordered Serigo the salesman at [redacted] told me that the [redacted]s had called to check if I had really ordered the parts for their home I thought that a little odd.On July 20th [redacted] called me and told me that their shear had broken and that they had ordered a new shear and that no steel could be cut until they fixed there machine he told me that the [redacted]s were informed of this information. On 7/22/20141 called Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] and spent 9 minutes on the phone to update them on there roof and told them as soon as I could get the parts for the job I would start the work. On 8/01/2014 [redacted] called me and said that they would have my materials for the [redacted]s job on 08/05/2014. On 8/02/2014 I sent my roofer to drop off a trailer at [redacted] so that when they had the material that they could load it so we could do the work. On 8/03/2014 I had a dumpster sent to the [redacted]s for the trash. On 8/04/2014 we started tearing off the cedar shake off the roof we had a window of good weather to do the job. Then weather changed and we got the worst storm that phoenix has ever had in history, they are to this day of 10/20/2014 working on the aftermath of the storm that hit. The storm blew off entire roofs and devastated the phoenix area. The [redacted]s called me at 3 a.m. I like most people was sleeping, but as soon as I heard their message I returned there call and called my roofers to take care of the damage. On arrival Mrs. [redacted] was very upset she cussed me out told me that she was going to do everything to destroy me and my company I have never seen a person so upset. I felt bad that the storm had blown off our tarps she said that I had no remorse for what had happened I told her that I did feel bad but ali I could do is fix all that was damaged. My company has fixed all the water damage to Mr. and Mrs. [redacted]s home. They have a beautiful roof that they saved thousands of dollars on.I have been in business in the valley over twelve years. Done hundreds of jobs, and not one complaint from the [redacted] or the B.B.B. we got hit by the worst storm in the city of Phoenix history, and my company did everything to make it right with the [redacted]s.

DO NOT CONTRACT WITH K-LEE ENTERPRISES!! Our experience has been a nightmare. We signed for K-Lee Enterprises, [redacted], to remodel our kitchen in June of 2014. Unfortunately, we paid him up front. Work began in August. It is now December 1, 2014 & our kitchen is still not finished. [redacted] sub-contracted out much of the work & never stopped by to inspect the work that was done. We had to call him to find out when he was coming over to see what was done & schedule the next step. Most of the electrical work he sub-contracted was not to code & we hired & paid out of our pocket an electrician to fix his work. We also purchased out of our pocket, on top of what we already paid [redacted], for quite a bit of the materials for the job. He changed the specs of our contract without going over the details of the change & installed the incorrect sized cabinets. He had no work schedule & fit us in among his many other jobs. Consequently, weeks would go by before we saw him to explain these discrepancies. His excuse: "I am so busy." When we asked for him to finish our kitchen, he said, "You & all the others." Our goal was to have our kitchen finished by Thanksgiving - it was not done & we had to cancel our plans & have Thanksgiving elsewhere. FIND ANOTHER CONTRACTOR - DO NOT CONTRACT WITH K-LEE.
