I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]It is very disheartening and insulting to think that this business thinks that by adding an unethical claim to their terms of service that they can perform a bait and switch, which is an illegal action as per consumer laws in the United States of AmericaI am very unsatissfied with the manner in which this company is disregarding proper business practices and hiding behind behind illegal verbiage that they incorporated in the t.o.s. It it is true that the website showed the shoes at one price but when you add them to your cart they change to anotherYou are admitting to baiting consumers with one price and then switching to another. I absolutely reject this response and would like that CCS honor their customers like any other store would when they list an item for a certain price

I have read the complaint and although I am sure the customer was upset about us not honoring the price, it does state in our terms and conditions that “In the event that a product sold is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, CCS reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the...

product listed at the incorrect price, whether or not the order has been confirmed and your payment method charged. If your payment method has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, CCS shall issue a credit to your payment method account.” We appreciated him letting us know about the sale configurable being incorrect, as it was for a different Chukka shoe which was on a deep closeout. We did notice there was no color selected and if you look at the color selection which is the small icon of the shoe, it does state the correct price. If one had been selected, it would have shown up at the normal $64.95. In his email he also wanted a beanie that we still currently have in stock. If he would like, as a good gesture, we would like to send him the beanie free of charge. You may pass on my email address to him so that I can get his correct mailing address or if you could verify the address  given in the complaint is correct, I can just ship it out. If you have any other questions or need clarification, please let me know.
