As per our conversation earlier today, please be informed that we installed a sunroof glass into a [redacted] last week We followed the [redacted] Insurance estimate as to parts usage and what would need to be replaced We installed the used sunroof glass that was requested by the insurance company We tested the sunroof for proper working order and all was fine and water tested to make sure there were no leaks Customer picked up his car on 4/20/and on Saturday 4/22/the customer called our office and demanded that we correct a problem with the fit of his sunroof and to give his money back The customer has paid $deductible, and that is the amount he is requesting back My work colleague informed him that we do not have technicians that work on Saturday and she offered for him to come in Monday so that we could address his concerns and that she did not have the authority to refund any money He was very rude and hung up on her I spoke with the customer Monday 4/24/and advised him to please come back and we would address his concerns and if necessary involve the insurance company [redacted] came in Monday afternoon and we looked at the sunroof made some adjustments and that was still not satisfactory to him We explained that the wind noise that he is hearing is coming through a hole in the roof rail and that we would have to contact the insurance company We contacted them while he waited and they asked for him to leave the car here and they would come out the next day We gave [redacted] a shuttle ride to his home and after arriving home he called yelling at me that he did not agree with what we said that we better make sure that [redacted] came out by am the next morning or he wanted us to come and pick him up and he would call an attorney Every conversation with [redacted] leads back to him wanting the $dollars back that he paid to us for his insurance deductible I feel that C&D Auto Body fulfilled our obligations per the [redacted] insurance estimate and any further repairs would have to be approved either by the customer or [redacted] insurance company A [redacted] representative informed me that they were working with him to refund the money Should you have any further questions please feel free to contact me directlySincerely, Lynn K [redacted] General ManagerC&D Auto Body [redacted] College Park, MD ***###-###-####

I am rejecting this response because:C&D Auto Body's narrative of events is not correct and has several omissions The fact of the matter is that my car was not properly repaired when I picked it up on 4/and C&D was fully paid to perform the repairs A second inspection of the vehicle by *** on Tuesday, April 25th confirmed this and found further damage that was not repaired (dent on the sunroof affecting fitment and sealing) which C&D blamed on the *** inspector for missing*** said I could take the vehicle to another shop to complete the repairs The reason *** is considering issuing a refund is due to the poor workmanship of C&D because C&D accepted payment and claimed to have repaired the vehicle when, in fact, the vehicle was not repaired.Regards,
