The products and prices are competitive but shipping and customer service is less than ratedI received duplicate shipments of the same DVDs (total) and received no explanation, no credit for returning them (the shipping) but my credit card was refundedI didn't call because of my schedule and living in Hawaii (they are on the East Coast)Without any contact or apology or credit for returns that are NOT MY FAULT I'm going to stop buying from CD Universe

Review: Purchased downloaded albums and songs, due to a computer problem I had my music files wipped out. I called and asked if I could re-download them, they replied no, but I could re-purchase the items I already paid for. After doing some research I found there small written disclaimer that said you can only download 2 times, after buying the rights to download they refused to help me. I don't understand how they can sell copies, then put a limit on it? If I purchased the albums there would be no limit to it. They do not clearly explain this before deciding if you want to purchase or download. I spoke with the supervisor [redacted] on 6/17/2013 which was very rude and said I would have to pay for the items I already purchased.That make no sense to me, sounds like poor customer service, and more like they care more about the almighty dollar more than there customers.

I asked if they could allow me to redownload the songs and albums already purchased, so I could install in my music player and burn a copy so this would never happened again, one time to help a customer. They said I would have to rebuy the songs and albums, I've never met a more greedy co. before in my life and I'm a business owner myself, I always put the customers first. That's how you stay in business.

When purchasing downloads you have 90 days from the date of purchase to download. We also allow up to 2 download attempts for each file. Once that expires the download will no longer be available. We highly recommend backing up of the files to protect them from any unfortunate events with a computer. We cannot replace any files if downloads have been lost or deleted. Review: Dear Revdex.com:I am a regular customer of CD Universe, having ordered a variety of Adult DVD's and Music CD's from them in the past. Today, however, I wish to complain because of a problem I encountered with my most recent order (Order ID: [redacted]). I ordered a total of 11 DVD's on Tuesday, May 13, of this year and, unlike any previous order, I paid for the ordered items to be sent to me bia Next Day ([redacted]). I was informed by the online ordering serviced that my expected ship date was Wednesday, May 14, of this year. Having heard nothing of my order, I contacted the company's customer service number (###-###-####) and spoke to a customer service representative who indicated that the Next Day ([redacted]) shipping that I paid $26.85 for DID NOT include order processing time and that once the order we filled, it would be shipped out Next Day ([redacted]). She further informed me that one of the DVD's ordered was on Back-Order and that she COULD NOT ship the order until 3 more days to allow for the Back-Ordered item to come in. When ordering the DVD's online, they all showed to be in-stock and available for delivery and NONE were Back-Ordered. I requested the order be shipped today, as is. The representative advised me that I would incur an additional shipping charge to ship the Back-Ordered item separately as I requested the ship together all the items ordered (which I thought were all in-stock and available for shipping).Desired Settlement: I feel that CD Universe should make it extremely clear that fact that paying for Next Day ([redacted]) does not mean that any items ordered will ship the following day, as they would from any other and every other company I've ordered from. To offer Next Day ([redacted]) shipping, for which customers must pay a premium price for, when what is paid for is NOT Next Day Service is not fair and it is not right. The shipping cost should be assumed by the company if they cannot provide the service as advertised.
