As you can see by the attach letter from the chief of police for Shippensburg boro we conducted business concerning this customer by order of them.The vehicle was parked illegality blocking a fire hydrant The Police had us Tow it and Placed a Hold on the vehicle ( A [redacted] )We have Conducted business in a very professional manner with the complainantWe attempted to explain to him that we towed the vehicle per Police Order and he would not except that factWe instructed him to Contact Boro Police dept in witch he declined to do so and threatened to put a bullet in the call takers face and hung up We don't know how we could done anything differently The vehicle has had the hold released and he and his mother picked it up around 5:pm on 2/6/We have attached a copy of the invoice for you to review ( it contains a brake down of the charges ) and our charges are in accordance to pa state law and boro of Shippensburg regulations and are posted at our facility for public view Please review this complaint and remove if all possible due to being fraudulent Thank you in advance Charles C***

I am happy to see that they told me why my car was towed They should train their drivers to have better phone manners, I asked calmly why they towed my car, and they driver snapped, and then "upped" the price of getting my car backall for asking a simple question that any person would want to ask I could have gotten the car out for $(or whatever the driver said at first, I couldn't understand him) on the first day, but I had to wait to Monday, and then it was $ I still feel like they should refund the difference, but I got my car back, and hopefully I never have to deal with this unprofessional business ever againThanks for your help

I am rejecting this response because: as a customer I feel I have not received professional or courteous serviceAs Chief Scott has made it clear that the charges stand as collected I understand I am not going to receive a refundI am a customer of CDC and as a customer I have a complaintI am not satisfied that I was treated respectfully or fairly by one tow driverI don't agree that he had reason to randomly raise the price from the original $that he quoted my son to the $that was charged minutes later as the driver felt we were causing trouble when we were scrambling to find a way to pay the charges when he was unable to find his walletThe driver had nothing on paper to show that the original or increased charge was legitimateWe had to call the police to stop the driver from towing his car and allow us to pay the chargeIn addition I was accused by the tow driver of threatening him with a broom I was carrying to brush off the carsThe driver said to another tow driver to 'go chain her car' while I was asking why he had increased the priceI don't believe that working in conjunction with the police gives a tow driver the right to be discourteous or unprofessional.
