The new patient came into our shop and told us that she was referred to us by a retired Optician She then told us she has an old pair of frames from a brand we do not carry and a new prescription from an outside doctor that we have no connection or affiliation with She wanted us to make new lenses for her to fill her new prescription for her frame Her frame is from a line we do not sell called [redacted] , the frame appeared to be in decent shape so we agreed to make new lenses for her old frame with her new prescription We then dispensed the compete pair of glasses to the patient with her old frame from [redacted] filled with the new prescription lens prescribed by her doctorThe new prescription didn't work for her though, So we re-checked the lenses to make sure the lenses made matched the new prescription and they did so she took her frame with the new lenses back to her doctor to recheck her prescriptionHer doctor then re-checked her prescription and made changes to it The patient then returned with her frames and asked us to make another pair of lenses for her with her second new prescription from her doctor We then made her a new pair of lenses for her frames at no charge to the patient for our materials or laborThe new prescription worked great for the patient and she was able to see and she left with her old [redacted] frame with the new lenses we made for her A couple weeks later the patient called saying that the shade of blue her frame was looks a little different to her now that she has a current prescription She has said she received back the same model frame from the same manufacturer that we have never sold and that she confirmed with her retired optician that she was wearing her frame she sold her from Hart Schaffner The patient is wearing the new lenses that are working great for her that we made for her old frame and we have confirmed the model matches what we received from the patient The patient is wearing the frames that we received from her with the new lenses that we made for No changes were made to this frame other than the lenses

As I said in my complaint, CE Optical continues to insist that they returned to me the frames I brought to them.  This is not true.  I brought in a pair of teal blue/green frames and was given back a pair of navy frames.  These frames are not anything I ever would have chosen.  Whether the business mixed up my good frames with the several pair I gave them as a donation, or lost them, or broke them, or heaven knows what, they returned to me a pair of navy blue [redacted] frames.  Again, as I said, I spoke to [redacted] and their frames are now made by a different manufacturer than they were using when I bought my frames.  The teal color is no longer available or I would buy a new pair.  This business was extremely good in that they did replace the first set of lenses which were mis-prescribed by a doctor.  Why they would continue to lie about the frames I can't imagine.  Somebody bought those replacement navy [redacted] frames and it sure wasn't me.  I have photos of me in the glasses I bought and I can easily obtain statements from the woman who sold them to me and from other people who have noticed that I changed from a flattering pair of frames to this pair which is unflattering.  I look forward to hearing what the Revdex.com can do to help resolve this situation before I have to look for a next step.  Thank you for your assistance.
