Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] Please add your rejection comments belowI am rejecting this response because J&L is contradicting himselfHe first says I did my own glass work then says I had a company do the job.I bought my vehicle back to him a half a dozen times and yet he never corrected his mistakes He refused to correct his mistakes when I brought it in thereHe gave several different reasons why he didn't correct the issuesWe did agree at first to get a refund on the glass as well as one of his employees would come down to fix the interior and take the seats back with him for repairBut then he sent us a letter that states a refund and nothing elseThat's not what we agreed uponI called several people to get quotes on how much it would be to repair his mistakes and finish the jobI tried to contact him several times after I received the letterWhen he finally contacted me back I stated to him that I had people come by and give me quotes on the jobI told him he can pay me to have someone else correct the issues or honor his first agreementHe then stated he rather pay me and not deal with me anymoreHe will call me back the next day and confirm itI never received a call back from him till this dayThat is why we are dealing with this now Regards, [redacted] ***

Concern, 10/28/15The
embroidery of the ”SS” on the seats were slightly crooked when the interior of
the car was brought in to be done in
and I did tell him I would fix them for him whenever he wanted me toMore
than a year later he brought his car back for other work to be done and never
mentioned it to me at allI could not be expected to remember after more than
a yearHe never said anything until he was upset about his windshield, which I
told him I would fix no problemHe brought the vehicle back and I had a glass
company come to the shop to fix itThe glass installer told me that the damage
could not have been done by me and that the new windshield that the customer
had done on his own was installed wrong and caused a “stress crack”The glass
installer that came here told the customer over the phone that information and
the customer said he would bring it back to the company that put the windshield
in for him originallyThat is when the dispute started. I told him to bring it back again and I would
get it fixed for him anywayHe then said he would not bring the car back here
anymore. I tried to make amends with him
by offering him money in good faith to repair the windshield and return his
money for installing the door panelsHe did agree with that and then changed
his mind and wanted more moneyHe said he wanted me to refund money paid for
carpeting the trunk, but had no problem with that jobKick panels:
He cut and installed his own speakers in the panelsI only unscrewed them and
moved them forward about 2” by hand so I could install sill plates and told him
he’d need to reinstall them himselfThere was no charge for thatThe two
front door panels he provided for me to install were aftermarket panels
Aftermarket parts don’t always fit right and I had a hard time installing them
He also did not provide all the parts of the panels that needed to be installed
before the panels are put onHe brought the car back again with the additional
piecesI uninstalled the door panels and then reinstalled them with all the
correct parts at no extra charge to the customerWhen the car
was received to install the headliner I noticed damage to the roofI
immediately called the customer to let him know and he explained that he had
caused that damage himself trying to install the headliner on his own before
bringing it here to be doneWhen the dispute happened the customer told me
that they could have blamed me for it but that they honest people so they won’t
do thatIn the 20+
years being in business there has never been a Revdex.com complaint or legal action
takenI always do my best to work things out with the customer one way or
anotherThat has always been my motto but in this case it wasn’t possible
