my membership expired 14 months ago. The company is still taking $49.00 out of my bank account for 14 months.I was a member of Consumer Education Benefit Assoication since 2010. The company started to take $49.00 from my bank account every month. Then I went to their website today, September 15 and found the website do not exist. I double check my membership card and it expired on July 2013. The company never send me a new card but continue to take $49.00 from my bank account for 14 months. I finally asked bank to stop future payment effective today 9/15/2014.Desired SettlementI am requesting $686.00 refund back for fraud because the businss no longer exist and I was not told about it until I went into their website. The website do not exist anymore.Consumer Response The matter is resolved.
I signed up for a debit consolidation with another company and CEBA is a company that is associated with it for some reason, I don't know, they did nothing for me!! I paid off my debit consolidation and this company, CEBA, kept billing me $49 each month and taking it out of my bank account. My husband discovered several months later that they were still taking money out of our account and when I called them to stop the service, they would only refund me 3 months and not the entire 7 months of which they took out money for absolutely no services. I would avoid doing business with this company at all costs. IT'S A RACKET!!Product_Or_Service: some kind of monthly debit counseling??Account_Number: It is under my name:Desired SettlementThey owe me approximately $196.00
I used a credit counseling agency and CEBA was affiliated with them. They have continued taking $49 from my bank account after account was paid.I followed the procedures required to terminate my account, however CEBA has continued a $49/month electronic debit from my bank account since the summer 2014. My credit counseling account was paid off in August, 2014 so the $49 charge should have stopped then, however it has continued. I just noticed it this morning that they are still taking the $49.00. I called my bank to get a phone number for the transaction payee. I got a 1 800 number but it goes directly to voice mail and they have not called back. Judging from previous complaints, I do not think they will return my call.Desired SettlementI would like them to refund me $49 x 11 months = $539
