Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:just close this case!

The complainant is not on the note nor was he a participant at any time during the sales process. That being said, we met with the complainant along with his father ( who is on the note) on (3) separate occassions. We made the following offer as a show of good
will:We would refund all monies paid to us by customer and pay off the existing note, as if the car deal never happened. That was rejected by son, since coming onto the scene the son does not let his father speak and seems intent on trying to get something for himself, due to his constant complaining of not having any money. So I am not sure what more we could have done, we offered to undo the transaction completely, at no cost to customer if the customer was truly unhappy about vehicleThe actual customer's only statement o us is that he likes the car.The allegations being made by the son seem to be nothing more than a failed attempt to satisfy his personal financial issues.Thank you

Our response to this complaint is that it is complaining to complain, and furthermore the complaintant is not on the contract. The use of the word fraud and bogus, the specific item that the relative of the customer is complaining about is the on the credit application that is information given by the customer and then the application is signed by the customer stating that the information contained is acurrate. If indeed the application is in error and the customer then signed it stating it was the truth, who is it that is at fault? Why one would continue to complain about this and refuse to to do anything that may allieviate the alledged stress of the father's high car payment, is beyond us.We stated that we would unwind the deal months ago, returning everyone financially back to where they were prior to the contract......that was rejectedWe stated we would find a lesser priced vehicle and trade him out of it so the payment would be lower.......that was rejected. All that seems to be important in this matter is that "someone" is looking to get something for nothing, regardless of what is right and wrong, who is responsible for what, what is fair or unfair. What we have heard from the actual customer is that he likes the car, and if the complaintant was truly trying to help his father lower his payment $77, there are many ways this could have been done by him and all of his resources that he has made efforts to share with us, but instead he chooses to cast aspersions toward us and refuse all remedies that demonstrate our desire to go above and beyond what is required by law, ethics or morality.I don't know what more we can say on this matter....If the parents ( the actual customers) are not mentally capable of entering into financial agreements and if their son was truly trying to undo what was done.......then why didn't he simply allow us to unwind/undo the transaction months ago.I am sorry to say there is obviously more being sought here than what is fair and equitable

Let me put their accusation to rest by saying I own 3 homes and an RV. I just sold my home in Las Vegas and made a nice tidy profit from the sale. As a matter of fact, I was told by the sales GM the Sales Team from Dallas who was involved with the Sales Event would no longer be coming to Hondo's dealership as the result of how they conducted themselves. When I asked my mother why she signed the sales agreement, she responded angrily she didn't know or was ever made aware she was purchasing a vehicle. But, in order for him to be made whole- he needs his vehicle or similar year- make- model- and condition to the one that was taken by the dealership. I would like to hear more from the dealership on their fraudulent information on the paperwork. Also, why employment and credit information was not verified. When I conveyed the response from the dealership to my parents they were both outraged that a business would resort to saying I was attempting to do this for personal financial gain when they had asked me to intervene on their behalf. My dad is so stressed about where he's going to get the next payment which is terribly unsafe for him because he has stage 4 throat cancer as well as a cyst on his left kidney. My mom and dad said no one ever asked them anything about income or expenses. My dad was the angriest because it wasn't after they were told to sign the papers which they did that he was told he would not get the $4,000.00 for his car but rather half he was told it would be. It took one of my brothers several attempts along with my father to the dealership to get them to release the $800.00 they promised.  And the monthly payments were not the $225.00 as mentioned to him but came in at $377.00 a month. The price of the vehicle went from $17,000.00 to well over $25,000.00 after additional items were added of which the business personnel never informed my parents. The reason I am involved in this complaint is because my parents asked me to intervene on their behalf to find out how they could have qualified for such an expensive vehicle on their income which is below poverty level. All this information being forwarded is what my parents wanted me to convey.

From: [redacted] Sent: [redacted]To: infoSubject: [redacted] This is the response my parents wanted me to forward back to the business through your organisation. As per our telephone conversation today I'm re sending this information.Cecil Atkisson Ford seems to want to shift blame from their sales team onto me and my wife. Me and my sons went to see them when I discovered the amount of car payment. They said their team was wrong to make up figures and agreed to find me a low priced car. They said it would take a while but they would undo what they did to make customers happy. I have sold my own truck just to make payments to them. Every month I borrow to make the car payment. They offered to right the wrong that was done to me and I accepted. I asked my son to write to you because they never seemed to do what they said. I want my car or a same type make and model my son will pay what they gave me. They lied about the sale on the paper. My wife thought I won the car and that she was signing for it. I thought it was two hundred dollars a month and they would give me four thousand for my car in return. They say they would undo the sale and get me a car I can afford but they didn't. They don't keep their word. My son went there and called several times before we wrote to you.  They didn't want to do what they said. They filled out the figures on the paperwork. They never asked us about our income.  My son says that if they had done it correctly they would have seen how much we made through a credit report. They said I made money and I still work.  I can not stand up straight and I am 84. I went through cancer treatment due to stage 4 throat cancer. How do they think I can work? My wife can walk only with a walker. How can she work? I told no lies! They came out with paperwork and said sign this. We want a meeting with the business and us along with a Spanish speaking representative from the Revdex.com to get to the heart of this matter.
