In response to the complaint #*** about the Hoosier cabinet at Cedar Chest Antique Mall.
The Hoosier was in plain sight on the sales floor when the customer originally purchased it on lay a way.
The
Hoosier was still in the same visible location on the sales when the second lay a way payment was made I can provide numerous witnesses stating the Hoosier's location and condition never changed during the lay a way time frame
Cedar Chest in no way attempted to deceive any condition issues about the Hoosier The Hoosier never did have any doors It may have had a tambour door at one time, but while the Hoosier was at Cedar Chest there never was a door there We at no time were deceptive about it or attempted to mispresent anything about the condition of the Hoosier one way or another.
We would have happily provided at any time, any additional customer service for the customer to further inspect the Hoosier if they so desired.
The accusations about Cedar Chest being deceptive as to the condition of the Hoosier came as a complete surprise to me I was shocked, deeply offended and immediately defensive I strongly deny these outrageous, libelous and slanderous accusations!
It is common knowledge and widely known that used merchandise stores such as Cedar Chest, a flea market, or at an auction, all sales are final I have never had a sign posted here stating such because it is a complete non issue No one before in years had ever asked.
I took resent her accusation that I lied about no longer having her money.
As soon as a purchase is made here at Cedar Chest, the sale is entered into the computer and the vendor is paid immediately The vendor who sold the Hoosier has the money from both of the lay a way payments.
As far as commission, I do not have that either The vendors can voluntarily work a shift here at Cedar Chest and they are compensated from the commission fund for a credit on their rent for their booth I do not feel the commission is any of the customer's business and it does not have anything to do with the Hoosier and I was not interested in discussing it with the customer.
Lastly, when the customer realized she was unsuccessful in her attempt to bully me into her demand of a refund she resorted to threats and intimidation She attempted to intimidate me by threatening to "ruin" me on social media and that she was going to turn me into the Revdex.com So here we are
I worked for years at HEB and I have owned this antique mall for almost years I do know a thing or two about customer relations and I have not built this business into what it is today by being rude to customers.
