Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 7, 2016/06/15) */ When a customer places an order with us on our website, we notify our supplier and the supplier then ships the ordered merchandise directly to the customerIn the case of Karo's brand footwear, all shoes and boots are custom made to order at the time the order is placedOnce the shoes/boots are ready, they are shipped directly to the customerAny customer-requested customization or modification to an item is done by the manufacturer, never by us We never see or handle any merchandiseUnder no circumstances have we ever customized, changed or modified any merchandise in any wayWe have never sold knockoff merchandise of any kindThe customer's assertions to the contrary are completely and utterly falseWhen we received the customer's e-mail regarding problems with their purchase, we immediately forwarded the customer's e-mail to the manufacturer(Karo's) which is our standard procedure when a customer informs us that they have received defective merchandiseUsually, the manufacturer will resolve the issue with the customer directly without notifying usWhen we did not hear from the customer or the manufacturer, we assumed that the matter had been resolved and this accounts for our initial delay in responding to the customer's requestOur store policy is that custom orders are not eligible for return unless defectiveBoth pairs purchased are custom itemsThe customer was aware of our policy at the time of the purchaseAll of our custom items have the word 'Custom' in parentheses next to its description on our websiteAfter the customer contacted us on 5/26, a store credit in the amount of $172.78(the full amount of the purchase including the 10% discount) was issued to the customerWe also encouraged the customer to contact Karo's directly(via their toll-free number or e-mail address)to find out more about how their shoes are madeWe had not heard anything more regarding this matter until we received the Revdex.com notificationThe customer has acknowledged in their complaint that the Clear/Clear pair was "perfect" but did not fitThis can be easily rectified by the customer using the credit that they were issued to purchase the same item in the next size, which in this case would be a size If the customer cannot find another item on our website to replace the defective Black pair, we will refund the customer's money for that pairWe believe this to be a reasonable resolution to this matter
