On her statement she states that I refuse to do a walkthrough with herThis is not trueEvery tenant has the right to choose if they want to be presentIf she actually wanted to be present she could off and not just a sent a videoShe chose to just send a video and I told her that was fineI was also going to take pictures, for our own fileShe said that was okBut at no moment did I told her noShe had provided a forwarding address which is on the Statement Of Deposit Form attached to this emailAnd we sent her a copy of the Statement Of Deposit to that address, And she had never called us to make a payment plan or to say anything otherwiseBecause we did not hear from her we sent the file to collectionsIf you need anything else please let us knowThank You,

At the time of application, the complainant was read a form which was filled out in front of them that the initial security deposit was $with approved creditThis form also notes that the security deposit can be a full month’s rent which is dependent upon the rental history and credit report of any applicantThe complainants required security deposit was a full month’s rentThe complainant was approved to move in and upon receiving the email in regards to his move in costs, we received a response that he needed additional time to gather the money for move-inManagement gave the complainant weeks to move in and he withdrew his applicationThe TAA application form states that the application deposit may be kept as liquidated damages if “if you or any co-applicant fails to sign as required”

I just talked to my resident manager The only property we have on Stockton Blvd is a unit apartment that a client just purchased The name is not familiar to our staff The building is being rehabbed and currently has only occupants This building is so small and in rehab that we do not have a resident manager yet We have no employee named “ [redacted] ”It appears that this complaint has been ascribed to the wrong apartmentWestcal Management [redacted] ***

I am rejecting this response because: that response she *** is inaccurateYes it does say those things but the person I filled them out in front of also stated that "if any other deposit would be needed it would be an extra $99." And I was not given two weeksWhen I asked how long I have to come up with the money I had until Monday so business daysThere was never anything about weeks said so I do not accept this response.

The tenant moved out before we went to court and surrendered her rights to the unitWe felt at that time there was no longer a need to take her to court because she moved out with out proceeding in the formal eviction processMs*** was not charged that amount for a lock out she was charged

I am rejecting this response because:Attached is my copy of the signed lease and there is no where it is written that my full deposit will not be returned. Please compare the lease.I wanted Cedar Ridge to provide a copy so you can compare my copy to them. I am requesting that my full deposit be refunded to me. Painting is part of their operating expenses and my money should not be used to cover their expenses.I was never told that my deposit would not be returned even verbally otherwise I would not have signed a lease with them. They are not clear to their tenants.It is deceiving people when nothing is provided in writing at the time of the lease.

Dear Sir,You have sent to the wrong people. My complaint is against Cedar Ridge Apartments, 4945 Mack Road, Sacramento, CA 95823. The phone number is 916-427-1322. I was renting apartment # [redacted] which I vacated in December.I want my deposit back after they only gave $65.00 from my $600.00 deposit. I uploaded the copy of the check in my previous document. [redacted] is the Manager of Cedar Ridge apartments and she is the one said for me to go ahead a file a complaint as she will not refund my deposit even though we vacated the apartment and it was throughly cleaned with no damages. Thank you[redacted]
