In regards to the alleged Nirovirus, our insurance company has been communicating with the resident’s attorney and the insurance company is addressing the situation.There was not a bait and switch with the resident’s apartmentA mistake was made on the size of apartment the resident had requested The resident had requested a two bedroom apartment and a one bedroom apartment was held for the residentThe resident moved into a one bedroom apartment until a two bedroom apartment was availableA two bedroom apartment was available within a month and the resident was transferred to the new apartment and given a concession for the moving cost.The resident broke the lease and paid December’s rent through an auto pay with the resident’s bankOur company does not have access to the resident’s bank account and has no way to stop auto paymentsIt is the resident’s responsibility to turn off the auto paymentsThe security deposit was processed and a copy mailed to the resident within the days required by [redacted] State Law

The resident’s vehicle was towed by mistakeThe resident spoke with the regional manager and community manager regarding the situationBoth employees were very sympathetic and quickly resolved the issueOnce the receipt for the cab fare and the proof of loss wages were received, the community manger issued a credit rent of $for April rentThis included cab fare of $and $for lost wages

There have been times since January that the laundry equipment in building A was not working correctlyAll times the machines have been repaired and are currently working properlyIf the resident is due a refund for money lost in the machines, the vendor/owner of the equipment will be able to refund himThe vendor/owner information of the laundry equipment is located in the laundry room and is also available in the leasing officeWe show two work orders were called in for the a/cBoth work orders were completed and the a/c is currently working properlyThere was one work order placed for the water issue in the showerThe maintenance team replaced the stems for the tub/shower and everything was working correctly when they leftThere have not been any other work orders turned in for a water issueWe feel all issues have been addressed properlyWe will not be accessing a credit at this time
