I am rejecting this response because:As we are going to continue to disagree on this that is fine I will continue to file complaints everywhere and let everyone know of this counterproductive and downright awful policyYou need to have it listed on said form that people sign and possibly even listed elsewhere along with the established replacement costsNo one should be accused of destruction by you of any propertyIf this is indeed your hotels policy for all guests than let them know that if the linens get stained you view that as destruction and they will incur a chargeYou need to be more forthright about what your hotel views as destruction since no other hotel as ever viewed using linens that wayTransparency will be your friend but when you hide behind very broad catchall language you will make some very unhappy non friendsBy the way the recent Google reviews not goodSo at least someone somewhere has read my review and has made a different lodging choice and I hope may more will choose elsewhere as wellIf it is a rule than tell people the rules and not just as you charge them at checkout

I am rejecting this response because:
Sincerely,
*** *** When asked to return the paid for wash cloth and pillow case they said to dig it out of the trashWe have a recording of her (general manager) stating this. Very unprofessionalThey never tried to remove them she looked at them then scratched a bit of pizza sauce off and immediately said they wont come outI have never had an issue with linens at any other hotel in the world than this oneHotels where I have had to use lines to clean dirty dishes and children before. If this is such an issue to this hotel they need to have a linen policy clearly displayed at check in and before booking for guests to examine up front so that people can decide if risk losing their deposit is worth itAs far as the signing of hotel damage sure I signed that but it lists smoking in the room and unauthorized pets as things that cause damage nowhere are linens mentionedEven under state law landlords cant charge for average wear and tearI am guessing using one towels at a hotel is averageThe way the hotel thinks it as if I utterly ripped them to shreds and they are no longer usable at allI mean do they not use soap or bleach on their linens between guests. I have even in the past accidentaly packed linens from a hotel and still wasn't charged. If it is a policy than it is a hidden one that guests only know about after their hotel stay and after the linens have been usedThey need to be up front and tell guests they may be chargedPeople understand if they smash in the tv they will be charged but not for using the towelsThey need to better state this policy because only afterwards seems very deceptive and fraudulent

The registration card states " You will be charged $or more for smoking of any kind in a room and/or damages to hotel property" Hotel property includes our linens and towels being as they are our propertyAlso, again, the guest staining out property in not wear and tearwear and tear would consist of holes being worn into the towels or linenThis guest stained the items with pizza grease and make-upWe provide make up removers in all rooms to stop that from happening because those kind of stains do not come outI did try to get out the pizza grease right in front of this guest and so did our laundry lady and neither of the stains came out so the items were discardedThis guest will not be getting a refund of any kindShe signed the registration agreeing to pay for any damages

This guest stained a washcloth with lipstick and a pillowcase with grease from pizza. Our laundry lady made several attempts to remove these stains to no avail. Therefore, as stated clearly on the registration card this guest signed at check in, she was charged for damage to hotel property and the...

items were thrown away since we could no longer us them.

By law we are not required to have an elevator unless we are a three story building and we are only a two story building. We also can not guarantee first floor accommodations unless the guest specifically calls and asks for a first floor room as all of our reservations are based on first come, first...

serve availability. If we don't have one available at the time of check in there isn't anything we can do.
The screen shot attached also shows that this guest did not check out immediately but stayed for two days. Also, we did not find any bad smell in their room and the A/C unit in brand new and works perfectly. The owner as stated there will be no refund.

This guest ruined several of our towels as well as had drugs in her room with a small female child and several men. This required us to call the police and have the come out and remove the drugs from the room as well and file a police report. When all guests check in they sign a registration card...

that clearly states that they agree to be charged up to $350 for any damages done to the room or the contents of the room, Therefore she will not be receiving her deposit back.
