We have been doing insurance work for years and we are very knowledgeable and proficient at what we do It's unfortunate that when we try to assist a customer that stated they needed help financially in the form of a payment plan for their deductible that we are repaid this way I
guess the old saying of no good deed goes unpunished is accurate here The info on the complaint needs some clarification We billed the customer plus of decking that needed to be replaced and his insurance company stated was not covered by his policy We write clearly on the contract that when decking is rotten or delaminated it needs to be replaced and the dollar figure per square foot is written on the agreement We do this to be proactive as we cannot have a roof sitting open and then "negotiating" over the cost of replacing decking that we cannot see until the roof is torn off We always submit it first to their insurance carrier and our agreement states if the customers policy does not cover it they need to pay We are not going to hide it and put on a faulty roof The in other supplements was also denied by his carrier and it states on our bill that if they do not cover it we do not collect it on those items Furthermore we agreed to let him pay at least per month to pay off his deductible and we built this roof in February and have not received a dime from him The only money we received was the that came directly from his insurance He only needs to pay his deductible and for the rotten decking 3720.00+ And yet we have not received anything from him We did honest business and expect him to pay his portion that he agreed to pay No more, no less

I am rejecting this response because:As you can see in the 2 attachments the numbers are different as to what I owe. One attachment is the last bill I got from them and the other is from their lawyer which the numbers do not add up as they recieved $ 5190 from insurance. Yes they have been doing this for a long time as far as "insurance work". This was our agreement at the beginning that they would replace the roof for what the insurance company would pay and I would pay the deductable in $ 100 per month installments.  I still am not refusing to pay, but I want a bill that states that I owe $ 3720 in monthly installments. As far as the decking being $1300 that is a scalpers price at $6.50 per SF. I would have went and bought the wood myself for that price. This price should have been estimated in the original invoice to the insurance company. It is not written clearly on the contract and even if it was this should be part of the insurance claim, as you stated to me you would replace the roof for what insurance would pay...."insurance work". Their response again states later that they agreed to let us pay 100 per month for the deductable. Also remember a salesman will say almost anything to get a sale and get his money, then deny it later. Near the end of their statement they say that I only owe the deductable plus the decking but the attached last bill shows me owing over $7000. The lawyers papers show that the job was $10000 something and I still owe $7200 and they received $5190 from insurance. I want what I was promised at the price I promised to pay. I also have inspected the roof and found several lazy mistakes and shortcuts taken. There was 2 sheets of 3/8" plywood that were left here that they are welcome to come and retrieve, especially if I paid $6.50 per SF. There was no need for 3/8" plywood for this job. If I go into my attic and see that they used 3/8" plywood for decking I will be calling up the Orange County Inspector and informing him of it also.

Thanks [redacted]!   It looks like the weather may not co-operate tomorrow so let’s plan on Thursday.  I’ll work on getting the time set.  Will likely have to be after 6:30 but I should be able to let you know tomorrow.  I’ll get back to you as soon as I confirm a few things tomorrow....

Again, we helped out the customer by letting him pay his deductible at a very low 100$ per month.  At that rate it will be over 1 1/2 years before we will be paid in full. We did this as customer asked us to please help him out in this situation.  To date we have received ZERO payments from him even though we finished the project in Feb.  We should have already been paid 400.00 of that agreement. As for the supplement it states right on the bill (see attached) that if insurance does not cover those items they are not due, so as insurance denied it we had removed them from the bill.  In regard to the decking it states clearly on the agreement what we charge for plank decking and he signed that agreement.  That is the ONLY additional monies that were charged to him.   Even though he signed an agreement stating that price for decking we will again go out of our way to help and cut that bill for the decking in half to 650.00 if he will immediately pay that and the 400.00 he should have already paid for the deductible so far.  We simply want to be paid for the work we have done according to the agreement we made.  We have done our part and expect the customer to do theirs.  I'm not even sure how not wanting to pay for the agreement a customer signed can be a Revdex.com complaint.
