After I had signed the lease agreement I went to the residence and brought to the attention of the managing company that the roof tile was missing in a 5sqft area as well as a chimney needed to be installed, also the siding on the house above the garage but below the houses roof line was missing all of the siding as well as flashing. This could have been cause of leaks witch the property managing company sent a handy man over to fix as well as a trailer of garbage that sat in the drive way for over a week that some neighbor to the home was hired to clean up. He did a poor job of that cause the gutters were full of branches and leaves there also was no insulation in the attic of the residenceI paid $dollars to have insulation put in house so I wouldn't freeze and was not compensated for any of thatI also had to have gravel brought in for the driveway or the inside of the home would have been covard in mud after rainy daysThe property management came into the home illegally without my consent more than once when I was not home. I had a lock smith company come a week before the 18th and change all door locks after I had complained to Cedar west numerous times of people breaking into the home only for a week later the property management illegally came to the residence on the week of the 20th of march and changed all door locks when my belongings were still in home as well as yard and garage that was completely full of all of my belongings. The Sheriff department was called out to the residence after I had get into the house to retrieve all of my things. After the sheriffs had arrived they had told me I had every right to be there and I showed the officers that were dispatched the mold that had been growing all over the home only for them to say "oh ya that's defiantly a mold issue". This property management company needs to be thoroughly examined because all of there other tenants probably have the same issues that are not getting resolved witch can get people sickI went to the doctors three times over my ears having problems witch is a result of the mold home. The property management company had my deposit in the amount of $dollars or so and I seen none of those funds deducted for anything. The house was in perfect condition witch I was in the process of cleaning during me moving my things out of the house to prevent these problem. This property management does not care for there tenants and or are acting as if they didn't hire family members from the area to break into my house while living there. It makes me sick to my stomach to think they can do this to people

I am rejecting this response because: I never heard so many lies in one paragraph and I am extremely upset with these statements This property management company does not take care of any of the issues explained and is giving nothing but information The Sheriffs department was contacted but the time this took place between the hrs of 7:and 9:30pm We can bring the sheriffs reports in if necessary also there statements will reflect on the mold that was everywhere inside the homeThe house had my belongings still in it and nor did I forfeit keys to the property management company who illegally broke in witch I should have filed an illegal entry of residenceThey unlawfully broke into my home and illegally violated every rental right one has There was never an order delivered to me and no contractors ever repaired anything on home The property management needs to be shut down Breaking into there tenants homes is a routine practice of theres and do not acknowledge the fact that tenants have rights and they have violated all of mine in every aspect I was very respectful to this business days after them breaking an entry as they proceeded to invade the residence before I was completely moved out There are electrical problems in the home there was no insulation in the house and or no source of heat or a/c without the home smelling of propane Leaking roofs no gif outlets near sinks broken outlets, leaking door jams with holes in the floor with drafts of air in every room. They were contacted about all additions to home including the back deck that was added for safety cause of the 3' ft drop one would face stepping out of back door Hazards health and safety with one being forced to move out is what I had on my plate I admitted myself to an alcohol facility after these issues for self healing cause I want more out of life than ever had, and the stress that the unlawful entries created made things hard to handleMy personal life is mine and not the issue were are hear disputing. Obviously Cedar West doesn't know how to mind there own businessMy brother having had a new born child and not wanting me to detox at his home, with witch none of this is relavant to the case This property management obviously doesn't mind there own business knowing so much of what my future entailed being that they were the ones breaking into my home months before I notified them My Brother *** was asked of me to remove the rest of my property for me so I would not cause harm to the situation that the property management company created

Review: I lived at 2017 Union Ridge Road in a rental for close to 2 ½ yrs. There were things on the house that weren’t finished before they allowed me to move in, (unfinished siding, roofing shingles, a slew for the gas heaters chimney) and during my stay, I discovered a huge black mold issue in the ceiling. 12/15/2014.

I notified property mgt about the issue for then to tell men to send them pictures, not my job to do their job. They did nothing about the issue. 3 or 4 months had passed 3-20-2015 and I notified them once a month about the mold issue only for noting to be addressed. I withheld from paying the rent in March 2015 in regards to the issue as well as began moving my things out. Around the 25th of March Cedar West had come and changed the all locks as I still had belongings in the residence. I kicked a door open and proceeded to get my things out of the rental. About an hour or so after the sheriff’s department arrived only to tell me that I had every right to be there as well as them getting a look at the mold issue.

The property management had a deposit on file of aproximentley $1600.00 dollars and I received $0 of that money and also a bill in the mail. They had not right to enter my residence and change the locks, nor hold my deposit for any reason because I did numerous upgrades to the home and it was in better condition cause of the work I did with 0 compensation. (Gravel drive way, painted, built a deck etc)

I received a bill from a rental recovery recently stating I owe Cedar West properties $600.00 and I want Cedar West to pay me my deposit back in full as well have all of the rentals inspected for hazardous health issues.

Furthermore I discovered leaks in the roof after it had rained notifying them only for nothing to be repaired or addressed.Desired Settlement: I want Cedar West to pay me my deposit back in full as well have all of the rentals inspected for hazardous health issues.

When [redacted] leased the home at [redacted]., there was a portion of the roof that was being repaired by the owner. A license contractor completed the job just after he moved into the home. The rest of the home was in good condition.[redacted] never asked for permission to install insulation in the attic or to have any gravel brought in for the driveway. [redacted] never received permission from the owner or CWP for that work. In fact this is the first time either owner or CWP have heard of this work.CWP or the owner never entered the home illegally while [redacted] was a tenant. In fact CWP met with [redacted] only once during his tenancy and did so by appointment. If CWP or the owner wished to enter the home we would have given [redacted] a 24-hour notice as required by the lease agreement. There was never any mold in the home. There also was never any proof given by [redacted] that there was mold in the home. [redacted] was fairly happy with the home but as time progressed he became more erratic in his behavior and telephone calls. Once the home was cleaned and restored to its prior condition after [redacted] vacated, CWP has leased the home to a new tenant who is enjoying the home.[redacted] was served a 3-day notice to Pay Rent or Quit on March 3, 2015. [redacted] did not pay his rent for this month. CWP spoke to [redacted] on March 21st and told him that if either the rent was paid or he vacates the home by March 23rd, or CWP would contact their attorney and proceed with the eviction process. CWP inspected the home on March 23rd and the home was vacant with no furniture, clothing, etc., in the home. CWP called their locksmith and had the home re-keyed and took back possession of the home.[redacted] later showed up at the home around 2am in the morning and proceeded to break into the home. The neighbors called the police. When the police showed up [redacted] failed to tell them that he had been served a 3-day notice to Pay or Quit and that is why he was locked out of the home. CWP had the locks on the home repaired a second time to secure the home. After [redacted] vacated the home on of his relatives contacted CWP to explain that [redacted] has a substance abuse problem and had gone into a rehabilitation facility. [redacted] also called sometime later and expressed regret for his action saying that he had associated with the wrong bunch of people in Camino and needed to take responsibility for his actions.Enclosed you will find a copy of the Security Deposit Itemization that was sent to [redacted] as required by law. You will also find a copy of the 3-day Notice to Pay Rent or Quit. CWP never heard from [redacted] about his account until after his account was turned over to the collection agency. [redacted] needs to take responsibility for his behavior and contact Rent Recovery Solutions and make the owner of this property whole again.Sincerely,[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: I never heard so many lies in one paragraph and I am extremely upset with these false statements. This property management company does not take care of any of the issues explained and is giving nothing but false information. The Sheriffs department was contacted but the time this took place between the hrs of 7:30 and 9:30pm. We can bring the sheriffs reports in if necessary also there statements will reflect on the mold that was everywhere inside the home. The house had my belongings still in it and nor did I forfeit keys to the property management company who illegally broke in witch I should have filed an illegal entry of residence. They unlawfully broke into my home and illegally violated every rental right one has. There was never an order delivered to me and no contractors ever repaired anything on home. The property management needs to be shut down. Breaking into there tenants homes is a routine practice of theres and do not acknowledge the fact that tenants have rights and they have violated all of mine in every aspect. I was very respectful to this business days after them breaking an entry as they proceeded to invade the residence before I was completely moved out. There are electrical problems in the home there was no insulation in the house and or no source of heat or a/c without the home smelling of propane. Leaking roofs no gif outlets near sinks broken outlets, leaking door jams with holes in the floor with drafts of air in every room.
