I, Mr. ***, am writing to file a complaint against Mr. Micahel O at Cedars Constrution Co (License #: ***). I wish to seek Revdex.com's intervention to correct Mr. O's irresponsible treatment on our home projects.

As property owners, Mr. *** and Ms. *** engaged Mr. Michael O at Cedars Construction Co. on September 11, 2019, for a bathroom project and a display cabinet project for their basement office space. The deadlines were set and changed by Mr. O for several times. The bathroom project was finally done in late January 2020, after dragging for almost 5 months. What's worse, the display project is still not finished and has no clear completion date.

Mr. O claims reasons for the delay is that he could not find a suitable fabricator for a key element of the display project: "assessable glass enclosure for display top" -- which is part of the scope agreed and specified in the contract sign by both parties. This makes Mr. O's competency in delivering the job questionable.

Furthermore, Mr. O, ignoring the context of the contract, made several requests asking *** & *** to pay extra cost for the display top. From here, *** & *** suspects that Mr. O underbid the project, and as a result, he is now reluctant to deliver the work without finding ways to cover the loss caused by his own mistakes.

Due to the significant delays, the office space cannot be properly used, which has caused tremendous loss to ***'s business. Few key client meetings/visits were canceled. *** & *** have communicated with Mr. O via emails/texts/face-to-face meetings, highlighting the loss and impacts on their life. However, Mr. O shows no responsibility and pro-activeness in delivering the job. Mr. O also shows no interest in making reasonable reimbursement to *** & 's loss.
