It is the goal of Cedarwood Village Apartments to provide the best in customer service. I apologize if you experienced anything less than the best. In regards to being locked out of the exterior door of your building and being asked to pay $75, I suspect there may have been some
confusion as to what was initially being requested. Cedarwood Village only charges $if a resident comes in and requests a full lock change due to losing their keys. If a resident is locked out of the building, our leasing staff can open the doors after verifying residency. The staff have been re-trained on the appropriate courses of action when someone is locked out of their apartment home or requests a lock change. In addition, in order to train on all appropriate customer service techniques, our leasing consultants were sent for an intense, two-day training course and became Certified Leasing Professionals I succumbed to the flu epidemic and was out of the office extremely ill almost that whole week when our original meeting was planned on January 4, 2018. It was not my intention to miss our meeting and contacted the office and you via email just as soon as I realized I would not be able to attend the meeting Per our discussion on January 11, about your lease requirements regarding the termination of your lease, the lease requirements are the same for every resident and must be followed according to the Lease Agreement that was signed. I apologize for any actions of any staff member that were not conducted appropriately since we are committed to satisfying the needs of our residents with uncompromised integrity. Respectfully Yours, Lynne ** M***Community Manager
