Celebrity DJ

I would highly recommend Celebrity DJ if you want your DJ to show up late, unprepared without the correct equipment. If you would like NO ONE to be able to share the joy in hearing your ceremony pick them!! You only get one wedding day make sure you choose a DJ that is going to make that day special, We were told the day we met ** and [redacted] how the DJ is the glue to a wedding and boy is that true. That is why we wanted them. It sounded like they understood and had a passion for making our wedding special! WRONG! To start [redacted] showed up late to the wedding blaming the hotel for being rude and not helping him. He did not have a MICROPHONE one of the most necessary and basic pieces of equipment needed for a DJ!!! Again blaming the DJ that had the stuff before him (nothing was his fault). If he had been on time we may have been able to correct this before the ceremony, but because he wasn't we had to start. No one but my husband and I and maybe the first row could hear our ceremony. After the ceremony (of course we still need a mic for the reception) [redacted]s only fix for this was to leave to go get one. " There is no one that can bring it, you will have to postpone introductions and start dinner while I go get the mic". The hotel saved his behind and got a mic in asap. The rest of the night was just a scattered mess he was not prepared with any of our music. They didn't have any of the requested songs. He told the mother of the bride when she requested a song. "I have already played that genre if I get back to it ill play your song". After all this after quite literally ruining our one day the value that they put on our day was $50. You may be paying $1000 or so but the value that this company puts on one of the most important days of your life is $50. Think about that before choosing and paying so much for Celebrity DJ!! I could go on and on about everything that went wrong, or was said, or forgot, etc, but I feel confident this gives a pretty good outline of our experience with not only the DJ for our event but the company as a whole.
