I have included email correspondence with the [redacted] Adjust named in the most recent response from the vehicle owner on Complaint # [redacted] .He directly contradicts and denies the previous statement by vehicle owner in the response The repairs have been completed and paid for by *** ***'s inspecting adjuster found no fault by KINGAgain, King performed all repairs on the written estimate provided by [redacted] and signed off by vehicle owner If [redacted] had found anything to sugges there was an improper repair I would have been notified immediately, would have been financial responsibly, [redacted] would not have paid The fact is, all of this had been completed prior to the customers response without any knowledge or involvement by KING Because the repairs had nothing to do with repairs by KingThank you

On November 29, owner picked up completed vehicleRepairs were completed in it per the liable parties (vehicle owners insurance Company) provided 'written repair estimateOn December 2,2016, the vehicle owner returned with a "Check Engine" indicator lamp present on the vehicles instrument
panelThis was the first time the Engine light was present to the repair shop it was not on when vehicle was dropped for repairs November 11th, 2016, during repairs, or during pick up by customer on November 29, At the time of arrival to the shop on December 2, I personally greeted the customer, advocated concerns on their behalf to liable insurance company representative that was present in shopInsurance company stated they would not authorize diagnostic on engine light in accordance with company policy, insRep, advised owner must authorize diagnostic cost to shop out of pocket, shop would then advise if related to claim as damage from accident does not warrant engine diagnostic, insRep also advised indicator lamp did not come On immediately following accident, during repairs etcAt this time, advised customer would be willing to waive all diagnostic fee related to scanning and retrieving code responsible for Engine Light indicator (free diagnostic)Responsible insurance Repthen went above and beyond and authorized day alternate transportation for the customer (*** Rent a Car)Customers Stated they would not be able to return that same afternoon, would not be able to return rental until 12/5/"at earliest", shop advised to please , schedule with us on a day when it was possible to return that same afternoon, to avoid having to pay any rental out of pocket, as insurance Repwould not (in accordance with Vehicle Owners Auto Policy) authorize rental beyond day, Vehicle owner left shop, called back direct to Insurance Replater same and advised would return to shop Monday December 12, for no charge Diagnostic of engine lightOwner never called, never returnedNo further contact,Upon receipt of this complaint followed up with relevant insurance RepWas told customer had taken vehicle to mechanical shop of choiceInsurance rep, advised they would be sending field representative out to shop of choice where vehicle is located to determine: if engine light is related to claim if related Insurance Company will authorize payment to shop of choice.Please see attached repair estimate, all work was performed as per the written repair estimate, Customers authorization, relevant insurance guidelines require shop to perform only the repairs on the written repair estimateNote as the Engine Light was not on at any time during the vehicle's, stay at the shop, and the estimate does not include an Engine Diagnostic or scan no scan was performed.Please do not hesitate to contact me directly with any questions, have a great day.Jon B***Fixed Operations Director King VW/King Kia###-###-#### (***)

I am rejecting this response because: TO JON- It is amazing how you went from working closely with *** Representatives In fact, I recalled you running back and forth speaking for the *** Representative Meagan Which I thought was nice but was not your jobIt is called accountability Yes, it was you who instructed me first and later I confirmed with Meagan to take my vehicle to my auto shopIn results, it was King Collision mechanics that performed the physical work on my truckI can ensured you that Meagan or Alex had no hands on repairing my vehicleThere was no way that I was going to let your mechanics touch my vehicle againIn my opinion, the mechanics removed parts and upon returning was seeking ways to charged meThere was so many red flags that I refused to accept and I stood my ground to make sure no one took advantage of meIn closing, your scam did not work this time.
