I was referred to this company from a coworker. My home was one of the 60,000 flooded in August. My AC unit needs to be replaced. I told [redacted] that on the phone the very first time we talked. I told him I need a written quote. He said okay fine I'll be by your home today (09/01/16). He never mentioned that quote would cost me $145.00. I didn't have the money right then. He said okay I'll come back by or I could mail the check to the address on the invoice.
I looked at his business card and it clearly states "Free installation estimates". So I called him today (09/02/16) an asked him why was I charged $145.00 for an estimate? He said under normal circumstances it would be free. But since the flood & insurance companies are paying for it he is changing $145. I told him your card does not say that! He said he would apply the $145 to my balance if I choose him to do the job. I told him he could not be trusted because he advertise one thing & does something else.
