My photos were large digital size, and what you "recovered" after your employee accidentally wiped my hard drive clean are only photos in thumbnail size. They are too small to print or edit. They are unclear in their detail and to be totally honest, my heart is completely broken bc these are photos of my life, my children growing up and there is no price that could be put on those memories.you were completely careless with my computer. You never should have taken it in to do a job you weren't able to do. There are too many complaints to count online, for similar issues against your company.I agreed to remove my honest review of cell mechanic if they got my photos and programs back. They had my computer for too many weeks, and came to my house claiming they restored what they deleted, but it is not true. I do not want to allow these people back in my home since they threatened to sue me and sent me a fake invoice. They are threatening to make me pay for services I did not hire them to do, unsuccessful attempt to bring back what they deleted? They did not refund my money, and I'm devastated by the loss of my family memories, and disgusted that a local merchant would be so careless, and then threaten me and then as a last threat, sending me a fake bill. Where does this end? I have all of my email correspondences saved, some conversations were on the phone and in person. I believe it is my right to leave an honest review, along with all of their other negative reviews on Facebook and yelp. I have not seen 1 positive review. The community seems outraged, and I've been asked to start a class action suit against them, bc so many other people feel ripped off by them. I am one of so many unhappy customers.l. Probably the one with the most damages bc my children's life in photos was erased by someone Justin left in the store while he was away. How does that even happen?

The solution to this is very simple, as I have explained it numerous times. The pictures recovered are the pictures you took, I cannot recover a small picture if it was not small to begin with. I am happy to show you how to use them properly. We are also happy to refund your money, as we stated we would. We will not refund you the money if you continue with the ridiculous slander. We have tried and are continuing to try to resolve this peacefully, but if you do not hold up your end of the bargain then you are responsible for paying for the work performed.

I wanted to reach out to you and explain the situation we had with out client [redacted], and her complaints. [redacted] has been a customer in the past with us, so we afforded her some leniency when it came to the check in process. As she pulled up to our store she got into a car accident right...

outside our window, hitting a parked a car. She came in side and verbatim told the person at the counter, "My name is [redacted], Dell says I need a new hard drive, fix it." and walked out leaving the computer on our showcase. We took the computer in, made a ticket, diagnosed the issue, called for confirmation, offered to attempt to recover any data if possible ( which it was determined to be not feasible ), and fixed the machine. Upon picking the computer up, she sent her son in to get the computer and left. A few days later we receive news from other clients that [redacted] is posting on social media that we deleted all of her family memories for the last 20 years. We reached out to her, and took the computer back in. There was no chance for recovering data from the beginning when a hard drive needs to be replaced. We were however able to perform an extremely difficult process that took 42 hours to complete and recovered 200,000 pictures. We went ahead and purchased an external hard drive as well so she would never have a data loss problem again. We then delivered the computer to her house, hooked it up, and refunded her money as well. Not because we were wrong, but because we felt bad about her losing all her pictures, and we also felt bad about the car accident. She is still making complaints about how the pictures are not the right size, which makes no sense in terms of data recovery. It is just impossible to recover a picture in a different size than it was. And that Microsoft office was missing from her computer, which of course would never be transferred to a new hard drive, as with all installed programs. They cannot be transferred, and we would never let a client presume they could. We have spent thousands of dollars trying to peacefully resolve this situation, we have email logs of her radical behavior, and are now pursuing legal action for the services rendered and unpaid. If you have any questions or would like to see the documentation we have collected, please don't hesitate.-- Nicolas C[redacted]PresidentCELL MECHANIC [redacted]

That is a total lie... quite a story. The truth is that they were paid to do a job that they did not do. They wiped clean the old hard drive, which they were specifically told not to do. They apologized to me for deleted everything I had, claiming that he (Justin) was out of town bc of a sick family member, so another employee messed up. Oops! They said they'd refund my money, but never did. I had paid in cash. They were only upset that I posted a complaint online about their company. I am one of so many complaints about their company. He threatened to sue me if I do not remove the complaint. I have a legal right to review any company I do business with. He made believe he was attempting to recover my photos. He showed me thumbnail sized photos he was able to recover, but they are tiny and cannot be printed or edited. The quality is too small, so they are unusable. My photos were all in a normal large size before the hard drive was "accidental" wiped clean. Then as a second threat, he send me the other day a bill for his fake retrieval services for $4350.41.this is his attempt to get me to take down my complaint for his bad service. I am 1 of so many complaints, and the community is fully ready to back me up in court. They have only unhappy customer. Not 1 community member has come forth to say they had  a good experience with them. I had previously used them only for phone related service, a cracked screen. It seems that they are capable of doing that, but never should claim to be able to repair computers.they never refunded my money, and they have threatened to sue me and to send this fake bill to me if I won't remove my complaint online. I am one of so many complaints about their company. 4,350.41
