I am sending in this documentation regarding my complaint against Cell R Us! Since I filed my claim I have received a check in the amount of $I included a copy of this checkI have not yet cashed this check, and wanted it to be noted that he dated this check for JanI had only just sent the payment demand out around that date, although my letter is addressed the 20th of JanI mailed it the next day, and the turnaround is not that quickI received the check in the mail on Jan31st This is my work email, and all correspondence emails should go to [redacted] Thanks! We attempted to resolve the issue that still lingers with *** ***A check was sent to her on Feb9th to try to resolve thisUnfortunately she stated that the check bouncedThat was due to a combination of us changing our bank institution and her not depositing the check in a timely manner. We also reached out to her by phone on Feb9th by phone and emailA copy of the email is posted belowWe didn't get any responseI take it she isn't willing to communicate with us directlyWe are committed to a resolution for this issueWe are willing to send her a money order for the amount she asked for which is $and still fix the original phone she wanted to fix at no costSince she stated she is visually impaired that phone would be better for her.

Last message from you was that you were going to close the case against Cell R Us, but I don’t think you shouldIf you did already, it need to be reopened, because the check that was sent to me was not in good faithThe check was returned to my bank, and caused my bank to charge me feesI am frustrated with the treatment from this guy and I want some justiceHe has caused me undue stress, and time away from other things I could be accomplishingI was on the phone numerous times with some bad customer service repsI was hung up on more than once, and not for any good reasonI was not ugly with them, but they didn’t want to resolve the issueI am sending you the documents again also the bank deposit, and returned check with the return fee chargeI am now not only seeking the $I have too much time and extra money invested in something that could have been so simpleI had to get a new phone because they messed my phone up beyond repairThe phone I had to settle for screen is half the size of my old oneI have a visual impairment and that is why I got the one phone I had in the first placeDo I have to take him to small claims court? I want a replacement phone the same size as the one I had, because I have a hard time seeing this smaller phone, but I had to settle because of the costCould you please advise me of the next step to take, because I am thinking that I need to go forth with small claims court, and sue him for my new phone cost, and the cost of the time I spent trying to get my phone fixed by himHe avoided calling me back plus he lied several times, and my gas, my time, my efforts, and extras money that I didn’t have to spendNot to mention that I went weeks without a working phone, and that phone is my only means of communicationMy alarm clock is my phone, I had to actually get an alarm clock to wake me up since my phone broke, and again undue stress and money*** ***

Since I filed my claim I have received a check in the amount of $50.00. I included a copy of this check. I have not yet cashed this check, and wanted it to be noted that he dated this check for Jan. 22. I had only just sent the payment demand out around that date, although my letter is addressed the 20th of Jan. I mailed it the next day, and the turnaround is not that quick. I received the check in the mail on Jan. 31st .

Review: Jan.9,2015 went to get my Samsung Galaxy Mega charge port repaired. [redacted] fixed the port it seemed to be working fine. Later I noticed that I had missed calls and text messages. I remembered turning the volume up after work, asked the person to call the phone had not sound at all. Went the next day Jan.10, and [redacted] (owner) began to fix it he lost the volume button. After 1hr I asked was it done,"[redacted]" said [redacted] lost the power button. He explained it was small hard to find and my phone won't work without it, they looking for it now give them 15 min. I waited another hour went to the counter asked what's happening. [redacted], said "Ok now they find the piece, but the charge port that he put on was missing the part that allows sound". I asked so what now, and he explained they need to order the part. [redacted] said "I will try to get it for you today you may not have to wait until Wednesday he would call me later. [redacted] earlier said it would be Wednesday Jan.14, they're closed on Tuesday's. I waited and of course there was no call Sat. I called [redacted] Monday Jan.12, I asked the status, he said let me call and track the order and I will call you right back. Again, no return call from him. On Wednesday I called again and talked to [redacted], he said the part was not coming in until Friday Jan.15, I said you told me it would be in today. He said well we had to order it so it won't be in until Friday. That suggest to me it wasn't ordered until after I spoke with [redacted] on Monday. At that time I asked for a refund and he refused. He said they used the money to order the part. I asked if he was going to call for sure on Fri. because each time I was promised a call I never received one.He stated yes. Again no call Fri. Sent a certified demand for refund letter stating if I didn't hear from them by Jan 28 I was going to file a claim in court, and still no response from neither one of them. My carrier doesn't make these phones anymore and now I am suffering without a phone for weeks. It cost 600-700 for a new one!Desired Settlement: I want a new phone or the money that it cost for my phone so that I can replace it,I want the same size phone of the one that got destroyed. I should not have to suffer or except a smaller size phone for a phone I paid over $500 for because of the size. My cell phone is not in working order and I can't get another. I had to pay my deductible of $125.00 for a replace phone which is a Galaxy S4 and it is half the size of my phone (not a trade off) I want that refunded as well.
