Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/03/07) */
We have received a return request by Mr [redacted] on Feb 20, 2016. It was claimed the part he ordered is defective. We sent him a [redacted] return shipment waybill at our cost by email on the next business day. The return item was received...

on Feb 25, 2016. When we opened the package, we found out the part that Mr [redacted] return to us was damaged. So we replied to Mr [redacted] that we cannot replace a part that has been damaged and picture of the return item was attached. On Feb 26, 2016 Mr [redacted] request the return item to be sent back to him. We no problem sending it back to him but we only require the shipping cost reimbursed. So we replied to Mr [redacted] that we paid for the pick up shipment and require Mr [redacted] to send $20.00 +GST to us just to cover the return cost. However, Mr [redacted] refused and request us to send the item by [redacted]. We replied to Mr [redacted] that all our shipment will be send by courier only. We have to keep track of our shipments and that $20 is the cost to cover to send the shipment to North Bay, Ontario. We hope Mr [redacted] will accept that the item cannot be just put in an envelope and send by post. We have to make sure all shipments will be taking care of when we ship it out. Thanks
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/03/08) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
It is quite possible that the part was damaged when they received it, as I had taken no care in removing it because it was already defective and not functioning properly. Also, I had to remove and re-install the part a number of times to ensure it was not faulty connections, which it was not. This would have continuously reduced the integrity of the frame on the LCD, which is what they advised me was damaged. This damage has absolutely no relation to the functionality of the LCD. They were provided with pictures of the part not working before removal. And pictures of an old cracked screen working perfectly. I still believe I should be receiving a replacement part[redacted]
Final Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2016/03/17) */
The part was tested before we mail to customer. We have no problem to replace the defective part under the condition of "no physical damage".

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
[redacted] I still want a replacement. [redacted]
