Over mileage after purchase.I bought a Lincoln Town Car 2011 with 50k miles.I drove from [redacted] MA to [redacted] NC to look at it and paid it.I paid $900 for shipping to avoid adding any mileage to it. Today I received it it has XXXXX Miles.They paid someone to drive it. I never heard this before.I paid $900 for shipping it not to be driven, otherwise my brother in law would have done it he was with me in this trip. Today we had a bad snow storm all The car interior is messed up with mud. when I called they to complain they said we did not put in writing how we will deliver it to you. So you have no right to complain. All they could offer is the cost of paying to clean it. But I am protesting against over 1000 miles added to my car. MR [redacted] CAME TO THE DEALERSHIP TO COMPLETE ALL PAPERWORK AND PAY FOR THE CAR WITH THE UNDERSTANDING WE WOULD GET THE VEHICLE TO HIM IN 10-14 DAYS. WE HAVE NOTHING IN WRITING HOW THE VEHICLE WOULD BE DELIVERED. BUT SINCE THERE IS A MISUNDERSTANDING AND THINGS WERE NOT MADE CLEAR WE WOULD BE WILLING TO RE-EMBURSE MR [redacted] HALF THE COST OF $900 WHICH WE BOTH AGREED TO AND SEND HIM A CHECK FOR $450 SINCE WE HAD TO INCUR THE COST FOR DELIVERY TO HIM. ALSO WE HAD TO DRIVE THRU A SNOW STORM TO GET IT TO HIM AND THE CAR GOT DIRTY WE WILL ALSO COMPENSATE HIM AN ADDITIONAL $100 FOR CLEAN UP, FOR A GRAND TOTAL OF $550. Jan. 30, 2015Cellar Ford To whom it may concern,These are the tires that were on the truck you sold me. I knew something was wrong on the way home that day. Half way to Morehead, after studying everything around me, I finally paid close attention to my rear view mirror. The rear end was jumping so bad I stopped along the side of the road to check bolts and nuts to see if they were loose. That is how bad it was. I thought the tail body ON THIS TRUCK was going to fall into the road, so I drove slower. I had a terrible anxiety attack after just spending a quarter of my lifes savings. Someone else had to tell me it was the tires. I have no use for these tires. I tried to sell them but no one wants them, The [redacted] want take them. Im very angry with you and I want you to put them on someone elses vehicle and give that UN knowing person like me a Heart Attack sure enough. That person or their family will not care about the fact that they bought it from you AS IS, NO WARRANTY. They will hold you responsible and their lawyer (s) will hound you to death until you compensate them for damages or you will have to close this business to get them off your back.Ive fumed over this long enough and the only satisfaction I know I can have is to throw these tires back in your FACE and give you a PEACE OF MY MIND. Im not blaming the salesman for this. He did a great job he is A-OK. As for the rest of you and my experience with Cella Ford, one thing is for sure, I WILL NEVER SET FOOT UPON THE APRON OF YOUR BUSINESS AGAIN AND NOT SPEAK KINDLY OF YOU TO ANYONE LOOKING TO BUY OR TRADE. I have the information to prove that they were checked and two of them were found to be with a bounce. I should have checked in to the hospital and gotten checked out, got a bill and proceeded to hire a lawyer and sue them. I'm not making up a story. I test drove the truck but I really could not observe every thing right then. The Salesman went with me and was explaining all the details and so forth.Business Response We were never contacted by MR[redacted] and was unaware of any problem with his tires and when I contacted him he said it was because he thought we wouldn't help him but we were just as concerned.
