Business responded to complaint The company said they went over to check out a receptacle, there was power going to the outlet, he saw a loose neutral line, tightened it and this made it start working This was after 2-
hours of troubleshooting He told her to use the circuit only for the refrigerator, not the microwave, coffee pot, toaster etcbecause it would overload it He also told them that they need to rewire, it's old knob and tube wiring, partially not grounded, old fuses, subpanel wasn't even wired correctly, and the fuse cover was off, not up to code, a fire waiting to happenWhen he left everything was working, he told the consumer to call him if there were any problems She called him a couple days later to say it went out again, he tried to walk her through checking the breaker, the consumer said she couldn't find it, she wanted him there right now He explained that he was on another job and couldn't just walk away, he advised the consumer to call him back in the evening and he would try to set up a time The son, the one who filed the complaint, called the next day asking for their money back, he explained that he spent hours over there working and is willing to go back and fix it, but doesn't feel a refund is due The son tried to reduce it to half refund saying his mom didn't want him back out He is willing to go back out and address the problem, but not issue a refund If he goes out there and it is the same problem he will fix at no charge, but if it's a new problem there will be a charge

Bob electrical did not repair the problem and charged $I want the refund!

Review: I submit this complaint on behalf of my 12 year old daughter. She purchased an iPhone case from a Cellairis kiosk at The Oaks mall in Thousand Oaks. The sales associate offered her a screen protector at a cost of $19.99. She refused and the sales associate said he would give it to her for free. She agreed and he installed it. The screen protector was so cloudy it was hard to see the screen so she removed it. My daughter decided she did not like the case so the next day she went with my wife to return it. Cellairis refused to return the case without also returning the free screen protector. My daughter did not have the screen protector so Cellairis said they would return the case but charge $19.99 for the free screen protector. My wife and daughter left extremely upset. After returning home, my daughter was able to locate the screen protector so my wife returned to Cellairis today to return both items. Today, Cellairus begrudgingly made the return but charged a 20% restocking fee. I emailed the District Manager asking for a full refund to which he refused. He claimed that the purchase of the case and screen protector was a promotional item combo and because the screen protector was "used" (the sales agent put it on the phone) the restocking fee was justified. What is interesting is that at no time did the sales associate ever inform my daughter of the alleged promotional item combo. Instead he tried to sell it to her at full price. Had my daughter simply refused the sales associate's free offer, she would have been able to return the case for a full and complete refund, with no restocking fee. The store's claims are bogus, they attempted to upsell a 12 year old, and they should have refunding the entire purchase price.Desired Settlement: Cellairis should refund the 20% restocking fee it inappropriately withheld.
