Hello,
I'd like to note we had smelled gas in the house. Gas company came and checked to find many multiple leaks, gas had to be shut off immediately. We had used Cellino previously, whole expensive they did a good job. We called them for this emergency and they came the next morning. 2 guys needing to cut the pipes to the fireplace gasline, cap it off (we never use it). The 2 workers were here for 8 hours labor, which we are told by other professionals in the field 2 guys should do this in about 3 hours and the cost, which kept being changed/negotiated, should have been far less. Now it gets worse. Firstly I'm in a house with no gas with Stage 4 cancer, very urgent situation because of my situation we cannot just pick up and leave. After Cellino was done and the final total paid, $2600, the gas company came back to do their testing before turning the gas back on. They found more leaks and damage to the meter outside. The gas company had to then redo 4 different tasks that weren't completed correctly. My mother, the homeowner spoke with management and she was offered approximately 470$. She felt she had no choice but to accept what they offered. After looking through the invoice, we were charged 348$ 5 times for unions you can buy at *** for under 10$ a piece. That's $1700 for pipe unions and probably some astronomical labor figure. This was unacceptable, my mother was taken advantage of, and I would not recommend this company to anyone, anywhere.

When you are in an emergency situation requiring a plumber you better have a large stash of emergency cashA job that starts out with a quote and only includes partial fix then turns into a large bill as every step to fixing the issue has its own charge

To whom it may concern: On 10/15/we attempted to clean the bath tub drain in the 2nd floor bathroomWe use a machine that is designed and made to clean tub drainsIt uses a ¼ “ cable and scores the inside of the pipe to remove any debris such as hair and soap scumThe cable can not drill through or break a pipeThat being said ,it will go through a pipe that is rotted or rusted This can be caused from wear and tear and the age of the pipe Chemicals that may have been used to try and open up a drain line can also eat away at piping When the plumber noticed there was a problem he explained the situation to the customer and advised her what needed to be done nextHe needed to open up the ceiling so he could see what was leaking The customer did not want to pay to have this done The plumber left and did not charge for anything The very next day we sent out our field manager to take a lookHe offered to open up the ceiling for freeThat would include putting down drop cloths and taping off the walls with plastic to keep dust downWith this done, he could assess the situation and give her a price to repair the broken pipeCustomer refused to have this work done When you go to the dentist for a teeth cleaning and they uncover a cavity they give you the option to have it repairedWe did the same thing except we did not get paid for the cleaning We feel we made every attempt to take care of this problem Anthony [redacted]

Great service, on time, friendly, knowledgeable, very professional, little pricey, but the job was done rightThank you

Jeff was very wonderful! He explained to us how best to solve the problem with the kitchen sink and then did the work in a timely and professional manner Thank you Jeff

John Cof Cellino Plumbing came out to unplug a drain that another plumber had worked on but gave up John was straightforward about what he could do and explained things in a direct way that I could follow He set to work and unclogged the drain He then spent time cleaning up his work area and left the bathroom exactly how he found it John saved me thousands (what the other plumber wanted to charge me to replace the entire line) If you want to work with an honest plumber who will do what is necessary and not try to sell you what you do not need, Jon is your guy

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Regards, [redacted]

Cellino Plumbing is a great companyWe had a hot water tank quit along with an outside water spigotNick P [redacted] a plumber from Cellino, came over today - looked at the jobs and immediately took all the stress off of me, and put it on himselfI didn't have to be there if I chose, and he went to work and did a very good job and cleaned upAt a time of stress, it so nice to know that someone like Nick can be professional and knowledgeable and complete the jobs in a timely mannerVery polite and courteous, which is hard to find todayI recommend this company and especially Nick P [redacted] for any plumbing needs

Came out on same day as initial call madeNick was prompt, friendly, professionalProvided estimate Answered my questions Worked efficiently and thoroughly using quality materials Cleaned up after job was finishedHad back days later to do additional work I requested along with his apprentice, John, who was also very polite; job well done guys

On 7/4/We called Cellino because of a back up in basement shower upon plugging the toilet that wouldn't flush Response time was good they were there within - 1/hrs He didn't want to carry his equipment into the basement and instead snaked it from the vent on the outside front wall of the house Running the snake towards the toilet and shower in the basement the plug was cleared (cloth in drain) - Total cost including the holiday service call and tax over $ Two days later (around 10pm) while running the dishwasher another backup from basement shower occurred and sounded an ADT water alarm by the water tank We called Cellino and they again this time he brought his equipment in the basement and tried running the the snake from the basement to the main sewer (front of the house) He tried for 1/hrand could not run the snake past the trapHe said the trap was corroded and impassable the cost to dig the floor and replace the trap would be an additional$2, he wanted a one third payment right then to schedule the work (1am) We decided to wait to wait until morning because we wanted some of the money spent on Friday deducted from the cost (since it was obviously part of the same existing problem)My wife called the owner in the morning he said he would get back to her after he spoke to the plumber She informed him that we were going to get a second opinionAnother company verified the problem and estimated several hundred dollars less While digging out the trap he found a brick in it that apparently must have been accidentally knocked in on Friday upon snaking from the outside front of the houseCellino's plumber called late in the day to see if we still wanted him to do the job My wife informed him that it was taking care of by another company The whole experience was very unprofessional and lacked consideration to a emergency situationNo specific date was given to complete the job

In response to the complaint received July 13th Customer is dissatisfied with the work done citing that work was: Much less work than what the plumber had described Much less time than the 2-hours quoted Please consider that the work that was quoted was “to install vent in downstairs bathroom drainage system $plus tax,” which was completedThe price that Cellino Plumbing gives takes many factors before providing a quote (travel expenses, materials, wages, insurance, etc.), which was signed off on before starting the workThe job was completed as described Also, please consider that we bill by the job, not hourlyWhether our technicians are done with a job and hour early or an hour late, the quoted price will remain the sameWe have found that our past customers are delighted that our technicians are so skilled that they are able to finish projects ahead of schedule***, the master plumber who gave the quote, was able to diagnose the issue in a very short amount of time and fix it efficientlyPlus, this work is guaranteed, as per the contract so we will resolve any future issues with this repair In regards to the GPS question, our tracking system shows on May 13th that ***’s truck: Left for the job at 8: Arrived on site at 8: Left the job site at 9: According to our dispatch board, the times that [redacted] clocked are: Onsite at 8: Completed at 10: Based on this information, we see that [redacted] was at the job site anywhere from an hour and a half to about two hoursFrom these stats, it appears that [redacted] was closer to the lower end of his time estimate, which is a testament to his ability to finish work efficientlyIf, hypothetically, [redacted] did run long with his time spent onsite, there would have been no additional charge (as we charge by the job, not hourly)However, he was on time, finished the work ahead schedule, and finished the work correctly with no emergency rush fee Also, consider that the first day that we visited the site was on May 5th to, which an additional hour on top of all other time mentionedOur records show that there was no charge for this visit despite the various costs of dispatching a technicianOur GPS shows ***’s truck: Left for job site at 4:14PM Arrived on site at 4:36PM Left the job site at 5:15PM The complaint we received refers to our practices as “misleading.” Let the record show that we delivered the quote over a week before we started any labor (Quote given on May 5th, work started and completed on May 13th), which is time enough to get additional quotes and to consider whether or not the work would be of value To recap, our quote was given over a week in advance, our technician arrived at the time appointed beforehand, the technician completed the work ahead of schedule, the work that was completed is in good and working order, and the work was done as described We do acknowledge that we did not follow up as we should have, and for that we apologizeThere is no excuse for not following up with our customers nor do we wish to give oneAlso, we regret that you are not 100% satisfied with our serviceWe at Cellino Plumbing try our hardest to completely satisfy all of our customersWe would like to offer $back from the work completed for your hardship Again, we always strive to deliver efficient, on-demand service for every plumbing issueWe are thankful for the opportunity to work with you and are open to any additional questions or concerns
