Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]While I may no longer be dealing with Ben B*** in an effort to retrieve my $'storage fees' which I feel was wrongly charged due to their own miscue upon the attempted piof the motorcycle 11/16/17,I apparently will now be dealing with a miss Holly S*** which just happens to be someone I spoke with in regards to the botched retrieval & she had as much said that she did recall "some sort of mix-up" on that day

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]To read ** *** statement is laughableI could go on to call her a liar who is living in a world of her own making but I wont lower my self to her level.I at this point would like you to review the file I'd submitted with my complaint & the timeline thereofOn the date of 11/10/I purchased the bike & made payment on this date.I was informed of the location of this item on the date of 11/13/at which point I contracted with the shipping broker ***.Days went by and on the date of 11/22/I was contacted by a driver who was going to pick up the item & was liable for the (at that time) amount of $in 'storage fees'Of course,I balked at this & contacted *** as to what the heck happened with this botched delivery.I was told they had a driver at the location on the date of 11/16/17-but he was turned made to wait for over an hour as the lot (Copart in Walton KY) wouldnt release the item due to a 'computer glitch' that wouldnt clear the bike for transport.Initially,I was very disappointed with the broker& their driver.& requested a refundIt finally sunk in that the driver had a schedule to keep so as to piother vehicles in other locations. At that point,I realized my beef was with the Copart Walton KY yard. Please, if you wish to know the truth of this matter, contact *** customer service & reference the order# to interview for the truth of a driver present-on-site 11/16/17.The delay wasnt my doing& I dont feel I should be liable for these charges

I was under the impression that this matter was considered closed and not sure why it reserfaced againI can only provide you with the same information as I previously stated. Copart can only speak to the member/members that are listed on a buyer account. Mr*** is not a registered member nor is he listed on the account regarding this purchase. Mr*** hired the services of *** *** *** *** *** *** *** who is a registered dealer/broker to bid and purchase vehicles on his behalf. I did however go above and beyond and speak with Mr*** directly even though he is not the registered broker. I informed him that I would listen to this concern but any direct communication needed to go through or come from the registered broker. I never received a call from the broker Mr***. Mr*** did not go thru the proper channels but I agreed to speak with him to try to help him. As I previously explained when speaking with him. Copart is not responsible for buyer transportation and any storage or fees that accrue are the responsibility of the member or broker who has agreed to Copart's terms and conditions for sale. During our conversation on 11/Mr*** told me that he would have the vehicle picked up by 11/30. I told him as a courtesy I would lot left yard this vehicle so no more storage would accrue to try to assist him based on his issue with his transporter. Mr*** told me that he would have the vehicle picked up by 11/30. I restated to Mr*** that if the transporter did not arrive by 5pm on 11/I would have to reverse the lot left yard and storage would start accruing again until the vehicle was picked up. Mr*** agreed and told me that if the vehicle was not picked up by then he would have the transporter pay for the storage since it was their fault. I waited till 12/and the vehicle was not picked up as agreed upon and the vehicle was placed back into inventory and storage/fees would start accruing until vehicle was picked up. The vehicle was not picked up until 12/4. Based on the circumstances and issue described it is Copart's position that Mr*** did not review or understand the terms and conditions for purchasing and transporting a vehicle when he contracted *** *** *** ***. Therefor all charges and fees with this transaction are rightly due Copart based on our published terms and conditions and agreed upon by *** *** *** ***. Copart considers this mater complete. Could you please have change the email to Holly.S*[email protected]. MrB*** is not longer with this location

As was indicated by my first complaint to your office, and further backed up by the receipts, etc I had scanned  and sent with the initial text of my complaint with the Copart Walton Kentucky location,if you wish to find the actual truth in this matter, your office should,in all fairness contact [redacted].com regarding order#[redacted]. Their customer service phone # is [redacted] and this whole case hinges on the fact that they had a driver at the Walton Ky. location on the date of 11/16/2017.I have no problem believing their driver was there when they said he was as they have done 4 other deliverys for me in the past with none of this drama. My beef with Copart of Walton,Ky aside from their flat out lying about a driver not being present-but,sent away without the motorcycle as they wouldn't release the bike & made this man wait for over an hour.At first,I thought my beef was with [redacted] (I was thinking the driver should've waited I came to understand this man had other pick-ups & deliverys to make & had a schedule to keep. The inaction of the staff of Copart of Walton Ky. caused the delay which in turn, made for a $300.00 'storage fee' I feel was not of my making & I shouldn't be liable for. Please, if you wish to learn the truth of this matter, contact as a part of an investigation contact [redacted] @ [redacted]

To whom it may concern; I'm no longer overseeing operations at this particular location, but have cc'd the necessary party. Please remove my email, and replace it with Holly.S[redacted]@Copart.com as she is the current GM. Thank you,Ben B[redacted]

Buyer [redacted] with [redacted] called me on 11/27 stating that he was having an issue with his transporter and they could not pick the vehicle up.  He stated he got (I believe he said another transporter) to pick this vehicle up and he asked me to credit storage. He wanted...

$220.00 in storage credited from 11/17-11/27.   I informed his that we do not credit storage due to his transporter not being able to pick up the vehicle.  I told him that his transporter should be responsible for the storage due since it was their fault the vehicle was not picked up. At this time there was $0.00 is storage due, it was paid already.  He told me that his transporter could be here on Thursday 11/30, so I told him that I would lot left yard the vehicle so storage would not accrue and as long as his transporter picked up the vehicle by Thursday 11/30 he would not accrue any additional storage. He said that was fair and his transporter would be here by Thursday 11/30.  I also told him if for some reason the vehicle was not picked up by Thursday 11/30 by 5 pm then I would have to un lot left yard the vehicle and he would be responsible for storage starting on 11/28 @ $20.00 per day until the vehicle was picked up.  He said that if it was not picked up by then he would have the transporter be responsible for all the storage fees, since it was their fault is was not picked up. The vehicle was not picked up by Thursday 11/30 and I actually waited until 12/1 before I un lot left yarded the vehicle.  The vehicle was not picked up until 12/4.  Never in our conversation did he say to me anything about a computer glitch, nor was I aware of anyone coming to pick this vehicle up on the last day storage was due.
