Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: I did not enquire about an Smini, in fact there was never any mention of me purchasing a mini sized phoneAlso by their own admission the memory card was taken out of the box and placed inside the phone and the box was disposed of by ***, so how can I return that in its original packaging?!! The plug adaptors DID NOT come in any packaging whatsoever, they were just taken out of a box from behind the counterAgain I can not return these in their "original packaging"I am not impressed by the prices they have stated as I was told totally different prices over the phone the very next morning by a member of staff ***, as stated in my original complaint! Also I am incredulous that a plug adaptor is priced so highly!! Be it £or $I am happy to return the said items but only through a third party as I obviously have trust issues with this company and I would like it resolved as soon as possible even though it could have been resolved that very night, as we had requested In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Review: The phone shop has been fraudulent, it charged me $1645 for a phone(sumsong galaxy grand).$946.12 for the phone, $217.75+$217.75 for two years of garenteen but didn't give me any of prove like a garenteen card, $108.87 for cutting a sim card, but at last refund me $62.05$217 for a bettery charge. And the terminal ID:[redacted]Desired Settlement: I want the refund, want my money back. I paid it with my MasterCard of Spain and my visa of China, there is no money left in both of my cards, so I cannot come back to my resident country. I really want a refund, I haven't open the phone yet, it's just like when he gave it to me. And he activated the phone, not me, he said that I just want to show you the phone, just see it. The guy in the shop definitely cheated me. Thank you for listening my problem!

Review: This company fraudulent deducted $699.99 from both my partners and I [redacted] credit cards on [redacted] September 2015 = $1.399.98

There misleading sales technique was to claim once we had purchases cell phones from there store and returned to the UK (United Kingdom) we then had 180 days to register with our own networks to prove the cell phones had indeed left the USA and were being used Internationally.

Once the international registration was complete 2 x $699.99 would be refunded to our credit cards. After contacting the store on several occasions, they claimed this process was correct and would take 3 to 5 business days to complete and we would see a full refund into our accounts.

We are now passed the agreed business dates to process and no refund. The company contacts refuse to offer any assistance in our enquiry the allege names I've dealt with, no not sure these are genuine. Michael was the sales assistant, Adam Sales assistant and "Charlie". All be it I'm pretty sure these names are false.

I also would like to add the misrepresentation our products purchased would carry a 12 month international guarantee with Samsung & Apple, this appears to also be incorrect and fraudulent. I have contacted Samsung UK & Apple UK and both companies confirmed the warranty in NOT VALID out with the USA.

We have now logged fraud claims with or credit card provider to pursue this store for outstanding monies due to us and need to highlight the fraud element of the miss selling to customers.Desired Settlement: They need to pay back the $699.99 charges x 2 to my partner and I for fraudulent sales techniques

Review: The company Cellular 21 falsely advertises what they claim is new devices. These devices are used and they try their best to convince buyers it's new.

Upon entering their store to look for a phone, the negotiation of a Galaxy S3 device came into play. They originally wanted $349 for a new phone and after some negotiating, the price became $300.

After purchasing the phone, and finally getting a chance to prep for transferring my data to my new device, I discover the phone isn't new and the box and phone have been used. I take the phone back and tell them that the phone is used and they consistently tell me its new. They eventually give me another phone, which was on [redacted]'s carrier (I'm T-Mobile) and they claim was unlocked. The phone was not unlocked at all, although it was a global phone (meaning you can still use almost any sim in it with some modifications.) I didn't go into their store with intent to buy a phone from another carrier. So, after being yet again dissatisfied, I take it back. The phone not only gives me problems with network and SIM compatibility, but it is also limited on the capable speeds. We get into a calm argument and I ask them to get me a new phone like I was initially to purchase. After waiting a day for them to get a new phone for my carrier, they claimed it wouldn't be there for another day (I was leaving the next day). Still dissatisfied, I had tried to negotiate a discount and they asked how much I would like to have taken off the phone. They already knew they didn't issue any sort of refund and still asked me. We came upon a deal to give me the first phone with some unworthy perks (case and screen protector). Since then I had a better chance to play with the phone more in-depth and seen it was rooted (basically hacked/modified to open restriction). I still do not get the fastest speeds the phone is capable of due to some unknown problem with the phone. And to end it all, outrageous taxes and fees have been added. I regret not calling the bank and disputing the purchase.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to send a completely functional, untampered T-Mobile Galaxy S 3 device to replace this one, since they do not want to issue refunds.

If that is not possible, I wish for this, along with all similar companies to have to report to the Revdex.com and deal with consequences for their actions.

It's very unfortunate all companies do not have to report to the Revdex.com.

Review: I was on holiday in New York and on Tuesday [redacted] September 2014 came across this shop selling Samsung Galaxy phones from $149.99. I enquired in the shop how much a Samsung Galaxy 3 would cost me and was told $199.00. After discussing this with my husband I decided to purchase one. The same salesman who served me, [redacted] proceeded to sell me an "upgrade" for the same price but I have since found out this phone is worth a lot less. He opened the box and proceeded to activate the phone (a Samsung Galaxy Star Plus). I then purchased 2 plug adaptors, a memory card, and a phone cover. I tried to use my debit card but it was declined which puzzled me so I used my credit card. Throughout the sale [redacted] was being very friendly and chatty about his heritage etc and when I signed the payment slip he was careful to cover the amount. On leaving the shop I looked at my receipt only to find he had charged me $653.25!. My husband and I went back in and after a bit of a dispute and [redacted] telling me there was a $100 unlocking fee he reluctantly refunded $100. I phoned my credit card company [redacted] the next morning who informed me they could start a dispute. I phoned the shop that same morning and spoke to a gentleman called [redacted] only to be told the price of the phone started at $349 (not true as I had checked the price beforehand), the plug adaptors $99.99 each, the memory card $149. He did not know the price of the phone cover but as it had no packaging and is obviously a used one, it is not worth anything. As you can appreciate I feel that I have been conned out of quite a bit of money as I found out that the plug adaptors sell for 19.99 each and clearly have been completely overcharged for the other items. This one act of someone, nearly ruined our holiday and I have now been informed there is nothing my credit card company can do even though I was refunded $100 within 18minutes. I feel that these salesmen should not be allowed to get away with their fraudulent actions and should be held accountable.Desired Settlement: I am happy to return the items I have as they are still unused and would like a refund or failing that I would like a partial refund of at least $300 as "[redacted]" knows full well he overcharged me.

First off I wanna apologize for the bad experience you had here at cellular 21 we put customer experience and customer service as a top priority here and look forward to working something out. As told by my rep u were interested in the s3 mini and were sold an upgraded model star plus p, the adapters were 50 each and the memory card was 199, you also wanted to use your phone internationally in the UK and there is a charge to unlock the device which was 100 with tax that comes out to 653.25. Now when you came back with a problem we were quick to respond and bec you didn't know about the unlocking fee which is a normal fee that is charged everywhere in order to use the phone internationally. We waived that 100 dollars as a courtesy to you as we have a no refund policy but as far as the adapter and memory card we weren't able to return those bec the memory card was opened and put inside phone and so we're adapters. In light of all these events we still want to help and we will exchange anything as long as it comes with original packaging and in perfect condition. I'm sorry about the experience you had and look forward to working with you for a timely solution.

Review: I was assured that the product I had purchased was a brand new Iphone. After having it for a week I started to notice bubbling in the screen. After contacting [redacted] they informed me that this was in fact a demo model that was purchased in 2010 and that the warranty had run out over 600 days ago.Desired Settlement: I would like them to refund me the amount I had paid for the Iphone a total of $511.71. I had to return the product to [redacted] because it was a faulty demo model so I would like a full refund.

Business

Response:

To whom it may concern,

The customer is stating we sold her a used iphone. I can assure you that at our shop we dont sell such things. Everything we sell is new and has a warranty. Sometimes for whatever reason it is the customer isnt happy with thier purchase, we will exchange it for something they are happy with. However we do not issue any sort of refunds as it is our policy. Also the customer states that she does not have the phone in possession, We will not be able to exchange or do anything for her unless we get the phone back. We can not take her word for something unusual like this.

Dear [redacted],

My apologies, I was very vague. It was resolved. Would it also be possible if the business could get a note of the case being resolved so we can move forward with our agreement.

Thank you for your help
