It is unfortunate that Revdex.com rated my issue on the basis of judging it as a third party matter, when in fact as an owner I voted collectively with other unit owners to put in place a group of individuals to act on behalf of all unit ownersThe business relationship is not between the Board and the Property Manager, it is in fact between the owners through the BoardBecause of Revdex.com Judgement on this matter it energizes the Board to believe they are untouchableFurthermore because there is not precedent of this matter Service Alberta does not know how to handle the issueI wish someone would have the courage to take this issue on for the Seniors that just want responsible individuals to be accountable
This management company is terrible. I currently rent in one of their properties in downtown Edmonton. They have no dedicated property manager, it takes multiple days for the sidewalks to be cleared when it snows and the communication is terrible. In the last month the water has been shut off 3-4 times without any notice or communication as to why. Any complaints to the company are received with defensiveness and attitude. When we moved in we were given contact information from Celtic Management, for the "building manager", to book out an elevator. We sent multiple emails and never heard back. We called him and left messages, and never heard back. Finally on the day we moved in neither of the elevators were prepped or locked off. We had to call Celtic Management multiple times before someone said they would call this "building manager". We finally ran into this man as he was locking off the elevator after we had already started to move in, and when we asked if he was the building manager we had been trying to get in touch with, he said he was "only a volunteer". This type of service has continued throughout our time here. I would recommend never renting or buying a property that is managed by this company.
