Complaint ID: [redacted] Centex Wildlife Control technician [redacted] , was out to the residence at [redacted] to perform an inspection for ratsDuring his inspection he found minor rat activity within the attic space as well as poor work obviously performed by another company on the exterior of the structure [redacted] then proceeded to provide [redacted] with a written proposal for the amount of $(in which we then applied our 10% off new customer discount to the total price reducing the cost to $1507.50) [redacted] signed our agreement proposal and wrote a check for the amount of $to retain us for our servicesThe services agreed upon included: (removal of all rats via trapping campaign (full property exclusion (Clean up of droppings and deodorize + disinfect the main attic spaceThe agreement clearly states that our repair work comes with a year protection warranty (Not Years as [redacted] States)The agreement was also strictly for the removal of rats and the clean up of their excrement(The agreement was NOT for Quote: "full service pest control on call for entry of any pests" as [redacted] Claims [we only deal with wildlife NOT PESTS, AND IN THIS CASE ONLY RATS])There was also no attempts to meet or beat any of our competitors warranty packages as [redacted] Also Claims [redacted] is leaving negative reviews on multiple platforms making accusations with Revdex.com, Yelp, Google, Etc [redacted] is intentionally damaging our companies reputation by way of slander/libel and making numerous accusations, the following are some examples of accusations in the review found here on Revdex.com: (1."agreed on the grounds that [redacted] lay traps the following day to remove pests and sanitize immediately" s ( [redacted] never agreed to any of these terms and we never sanitize immediately especially when a pregnant woman is present which he claimed his wife was at the time) (" On June 2, 2017, [redacted] arrives at residence, spends roughly an hour at the house, and claims to have sealed up spot that he says animals could get in at [redacted] s alleges that traps are laid upstairs in attic [redacted] requests payment of $be made After two of our technicians working on the structure for multiple hours sealing off entry points and checking/re-baiting rat traps in attic, upon departure [redacted] Gave [redacted] a check for the final balance due but no request was made for this final balance it was quickly handed to the technician as [redacted] was in a rush and had to leave(The technician, who came to my house and represented himself as " [redacted] ***" also has done business by the name of " [redacted] " and has his picture up on several other pest control websites that have identical reviews and complaints as mine [redacted] is also involved in these companies The technician " [redacted] " never stated his last name to [redacted] we have no Persons with the last name [redacted] working with our Company and we do not fully understand what kind of accusations are even trying to be made hereAlso [redacted] is the Owner of Cen-Tex Wildlife Control and Cen-Tex Wildlife Control ONLY, she has no affiliation or connections with any other pest or wildlife companies( When I was finally contacted one day by " [redacted] ", I was laughed at and belittled saying that he had me on speaker phone with "people." He told me he did not do business with "people like me" and that they only do business with "real Americans." This accusation is extremely off the wall and no phone call as explained by [redacted] ever took place, here at Cen-Tex we do not even have a staff of 27.(5." While this was offensive enough, he then threatened me to not leave my residence to go out of town again"Do not go to Chicago againRemember thatDon't go there." He then hung up on meBecause of this direct threat to my home and family, Again this accusation is completely no call was ever made nor was any threat ever made to [redacted] his family or any of our customers EVER(I would like a full refundThe work was never completed, the rodents were never trapped, the area was never cleaned, and the company refused to honor their warrantyThey took the money and never came backThe reason they charged and I agreed to $was specifically because of the year warrantyThis turned out to be fakeI have already paid another company ( [redacted] ) to come out and address the issue and do other workI have also incurred significant costs in securing my residence against this technician because of his threats Cen-Tex Wildlife Control has made several attempts to reevaluate at [redacted] s home, however he refuses that we return to his home to address the situationHere at Cen-tex we find it strange that [redacted] keeps mentioning the company (" [redacted] ") in every review he writes on every platform (Revdex.com, Yelp, Google, etc.) He is also THE ONLY BAD REVIEWER we have ever had in our years of operation [redacted] demeanor towards this ***er and the numerous accusations that have been made on all these different review platforms makes it apparent to us that [redacted] s intentions are to make as many accusations about Cen-Tex as possibleWe have completed 1000's of successful Animal eradication's and exclusions in the greater Austin area and we have never dealt with someone so determined to slander our company and defame our characterWe will ALWAYS do WHATEVER it takes to fix EVERY one of our customers issuesAGAIN it seems very odd that [redacted] names ( [redacted] ) in every negative review he leaves on every platform, we encourage anyone that would like to research our company to please read the reviews left by [redacted] on yelp and google, if you read all reviews on all platforms it is apparent he is simply making accusations nothing seems to add up.Cen-Tex is always here to help and strive to make our customers happy

I have returned mail from The UPS Store that they used as a mailing address showing it is a bad address.Response: AGAIN OUR UPDATED ADDRESS IS, [redacted] (clearly shown at the bottom footer of our web site) [redacted] 3.) I have a warranty that I paid for in June that goes through June for full pest control on my entire house Response: INCORRECT! CENTEX WILDLIFE CONTROL works ONLY with nuisance wildlife, we have never in our years of business provided any "FULL PEST CONTROL" agreement, nor is there any type of detailed description of the type of "FULL PEST CONTROL" our company was supposedly supposed to perform in your responseYou Had Rats and your home was treated for rats(*Again This unusual harassment continues on all platforms and is being documented for proof of defamation libel, harassment etc.) Our paperwork clearly says the structure is protected from RATSNone other, NO OTHER PESTS WHATSOEVER are on the agreementThe rat problem has been eradicated we did a job well done as always.4.) Cen Tex Wildlife Control has now changed their address since then and their phone numberResponse: FALSE! [redacted] ***- Is our address and it did change once due to relocation.Our phone number has never changed, it has been and always will be [redacted] 5.) Responding to the complaint was submitted on 8/2/and was assigned an ID of ***. We had a technician arrive on August 29, between 9-to the property located at *** *** *** *** *** **We originally guaranteed *** property for ring tailed cats and ratsWhen the
technician arrive he noted the property owners are now having an issue with mice (which is not listed on their paperwork)The tech also took video footage of the mouse in the attic during his inspection (it was located under a tarp in the attic)Mice could squeeze into hole about 1/inch and rats under an inchSo they could use completely different entry pointsWe mentioned to *** we could seal his property up for mice to which he declinedHe is still under guarantee for rats and ring tailed cats, so if in the future during his warranty time frame we will come back out to reinspect for his target animals A quarter is just under an inch in diameter (inches)Not all rats can fit througha hole the size of a quarterLarge rats and overweight rats are too bigBut somerats are small enough to fit through -- especially juvenile rats.Mice can squeeze into holes about 1/4-inch wideDr*** ***, Urban Rodentologist and Entomologist, indicated recently at our fall training seminar that if a #pencil can fit into a hole or crack, so can a mouseSorry for the delayed responseThank you,*** ***

I am rejecting this response because:I have never been allowed to speak to anyone regarding this issue.  The technician, "[redacted]," stated that was not an option.  The "our lawyer won't let us" nonsense is exactly that.  Nonsense.  They have changed their phone numbers and avoided calls multiple times.  If this is actually a real company, it is beyond horrible business ethics to refuse customers that pay $1200+ to speak to a supervisor and to refuse to call the customer back.  Outside of an employee that initially stated the technician that came to my house ("[redacted]").  The last time I spoke to anyone, it was when I spoke to "[redacted]", who warned against me ever going to Chicago again, told me that he didn't "do business with people like me," and told me that their company only did work for "Real Americans" before laughing at me and hanging up the phone.  Cen-Tex continues to state that the contract with the 3 year warranty was signed after all work was complete and I was satisfied, which is wildly false.  This makes me think the person responding does not know anything about this matter or that [redacted] is responding and saying false things.  As stated in my complaint, "[redacted]" came out to my house on May 30, 2017, and quoted the job with that ticket.  "[redacted]" then left without performing any work and promised to return the next day. He then refused to come back until June 2, 2017 to "lay traps and do some sealing."  He was supposed to return the next week to clean everything and remove the traps, which he refused to do.  That is when they refused to pick up their phone and started screening calls and voicemails.  I was finally able to reach "[redacted]" on June 19th about the work that had to be done....which he refused to return to do.  He also refused to let me speak to a supervisor.  The claim that all the work had been performed on May 30 is a bold lie.  I can prove this with an image of the check I was told to put as a down payment and the second check that was given to them when they claimed to lay traps...before they refused to come clean.  I can submit evidence of this.  Astonishing they would claim this.Address has changed 4 times since I first used the company.  No response from the address of the registered agent listed with the Texas Secretary or State for [redacted] or Cen-Tex Wildlife Control.I have never been reached out to by anyone at this company outside of the technician.  The work was never completed.  The warranty I was told I have was not worth the paper it was written on.  I have no way to contact a company that I have a contract with (supposedly) through June, 2020.  This is a complete scam and I can not believe they are allowed to continue spreading their falsehoods in this report.  Revdex.com, since they will not reach out to me, I would be more than happy to speak to you.  Please call me directly with any questions.  I will submit check images if needed.These responses are verifiably false and not in good faith.  I would like to know who the person is that is responding and making these outlandish responses that do not have even a shred of truth.

I would like a full refund. The work was never completed, the rodents were never trapped, the area was never cleaned, and the company refused to honor their warranty. They took the money and never came back. The reason they charged and I agreed to $1500 was specifically because of the 3 year warranty. This turned out to be fake. I have already paid another company ([redacted]) to come out and address the issue and do other work. I have also incurred significant costs in securing my residence against this technician because of his threats.   Cen-Tex Wildlife Control has made several attempts to reevaluate at [redacted]s home, however he refuses that we return to his home to address the situation. Here at Cen-tex we find it strange that [redacted] keeps mentioning the company ("[redacted]") in every review he writes on every platform (Revdex.com, Yelp, Google, etc.) He is also THE ONLY BAD REVIEWER we have ever had in our years of operation. [redacted] demeanor towards this [redacted]er and the numerous false accusations that have been made on all these different review platforms makes it apparent to us that [redacted]s intentions are to make as many false accusations about Cen-Tex as possible. We have completed 1000's of successful Animal eradication's and exclusions in the greater Austin area and we have never dealt with someone so determined to slander our company and defame our character. We will ALWAYS do WHATEVER it takes to fix EVERY one of our customers issues. AGAIN it seems very odd that [redacted] names ([redacted]) in every negative review he leaves on every platform, we encourage anyone that would like to research our company to please read the reviews left by [redacted] on yelp and google, if you read all reviews on all platforms it is apparent he is simply making false accusations nothing seems to add up.Cen-Tex is always here to help and strive to make our customers happy.
