Review: I had a month-to-month student fitness membership here and have paid $65 per month without a contract since March 2014. I cancelled this membership in August 2014 and since have been receiving multiple unauthorized charges to my account by this company over the last two months. I never signed or agreed to have automatic payments set up with this company nor did I agree to any cancellation charges or fees when I initially signed up. I have been charged $65, 5 times since August but have only been refunded for 2 of those charges. I have emailed the owner consistently asking him to take my account off of his payments system and refund me for 2 of the other charges (1 charge I will account for because my cancellation date was in the middle of August). I have yet to hear anything from the owner and have had to report fraudulent charges to my bank account in order to prevent any further charges from being made. I think that the financial management by this company is unprofessional and am very unsatisfied. All I am asking for is a refund of $130 (which would be 2 of the $65 charges) mailed to me in the form of a check since the account information the company has on file is no longer valid.Desired Settlement: Refund in the amount of $130 mailed to me in the form of a check.

Review: I signed a one year contract for a rate of $55 in December of 2014. In September the business began billing $65, this is a violation of the terms of the original contract. Secondly, I sent a certified letter on 12/18/15 requesting the cancellation of my contract with CenCal as stipulated by the business and I am still being charged.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed for additional $10 charge and reimbursed for the months of February and March. I would also like my cancellation of contract to be recognized and respected.

Review: I signed up for a year membership to CenCal Strength. Approximately hallway through the membership I moved to a different city and started commuting to the Bay Area so I could no longer attend the gym. As the time approached for my membership to end I searched the internet for CenCal Strengths website so I could send a confirmation that I wanted to end my membership. I was becoming concerned because I was now having payments automatically removed from my account beyond the year term for a service I hadn't used in several months. My billing information changed and this is what ultimately stopped CenCal Strength from removing funds from my account. I received an email from CenCal Strength asking me to update my billing information to which I responded to the email that I no longer lived in the city and wished to be removed as a member. Approximately a month later I received a second email requesting me to update my billing information. I sent the same response back. A few days ago I received a collection notice in the mail for $165. I tried calling the phone number listed in the collection notice as CenCal Strengths contact number only to find it was a wrong number. I Googled the company and found a number that I could leave a voicemail --I explained the situation in the voicemail again expecting this to resolve the issue. I did not receive a return call merely an email stating that if I had sent a certified letter they could have stopped billing. If this were the case I don't understand why this would not have been communicated to me when I sent I responded to their request to update my billing information. This company evades communication in efforts to continue billing its clients.Desired Settlement: I want my collection account to be removed.

Review: I, [redacted], and my sister in-law [redacted] signed a 4 month contract with [redacted] (the owner of the business) on April 14, 2014 which was supposed to end on August 14, 2014. We both tried getting in reach with [redacted] to cancel on Tuesday September 9th but he never responded to our calls nor did he ever answer phone number [redacted]. I was never billed as the contract stated on the 14th of every month but instead usually on the 16th or 17th. My last charge (or at least what I thought was my last) was on August 17th so [redacted] went to cross fit the very next day to see what we needed to do to cancel our membership and [redacted] said we needed to write up a cancellation notice and bring it in or send it via certified mail. Since I don't live very far and we wanted to just get the membership over with we decided to write up the letters and [redacted] went back to turn them in to [redacted] in person within 30 minutes the same day and made sure to ask [redacted] that that was it our memberships were cancelled and we wouldn't be getting charged for September (my card was the one on file for both accounts) and [redacted] stated no that we wouldn't get another charge and the written letters were fine. So we took [redacted]s word for it (since he is the owner) and thought the charges were over and our accounts were cancelled and didn't even attempt to go because we just started school as well as our work schedules. Well September 16th came around and I check my bank account online and see another withdrawal of $150 from cross fit cencal!!!! [redacted] and myself tried contacting [redacted] several times via the phone he provided and even left voicemails with no luck or again not even a response. [redacted] went in again on September 17th to see what was going on and [redacted] seemed as if he didn't know why I was being charged again and he said he would look into it and call her or myself that same day or the next day and he had both of our numbers on file. Well a whole almost 2 weeks went by and AGAIN still nothing!Desired Settlement: No products or services were used for me to have been charged $150 from Crossfit Cencal. Knowingly charging me after several attempts to personally contact you to cancel our account before the 30 days is disgustingly UNETHICAL! Not only that but when I went in personally on October 1st you pretty much did nothing about it and told me to email you and you were going to send me a snapshot of my account as soon as I emailed and I STILL have yet to receive a response! Seriously ?????????!!!
