The errors in grammar, basic spelling, and functionality are appalling. I am forced to use this product (MindTap) for an online class, but I've rarely seen something so shoddy. Glitches are constant and the program has a tendency to log you out automatically. It doesn't matter what browser I use, or whether I'm at home or school--it's just unreliable. Customer service is nil. The same troubleshooting steps that I've already used before the call are performed again and--surprise--they almost never have the same problems I see on my end. After spending another pointless half-hour on the phone I'm now informed that the instructor has to contact them about any issues with the assignments. But I'm not having an assignment issue. I'm having a software issue. Convenient. Fortunately, I have screenshots of all the problems, which I experienced at home and on two different computers on campus. Waste of time. Waste of money. And they have no formal complaint process regarding the (lack of) quality for students to use. The only reason they must still be in business is complacency on the part of decision-makers. Otherwise, the hand of the free market would swat them away. Negative stars.
